Founder Julia K is teaming with the area’s best teaching and healing talent to provide a comprehensive menu of options that she is proud to offer. After decades of traveling the globe and sampling just about everything there is to experience in mind body, Julia has learned what constitutes quality. Modifications are fine, but students are expected to have strong knowledge of modifications. Small Group Pilates Mat

This Pilates mat class is held in our Reformer room, on elevated Pilates mats (yes our reformers transform into elevated mats!) The Pilates props such as the magic circle, bands, and weights are often included. This semi-private class will will challenge and tone your entire body from head to foot with focus on the fundamentals of the Pilates mat. These mat classes are also essential if you want to begin regular reformer classes. You WILL see results and if you already practice on the reformer, you'll be able to take your routine to the next level.

Vinyasa Flow (Level 2/3)

Level 2/3 is designed for students who are prepared to deepen their understanding of philosophy and asana. Students should be relatively independent in their practice, and know many of the names of the more common postures. Level two goes into more intricate understanding of breath and alignment, thus, familiarity with general alignment and movement with breath is expected. Instruction will be given primarily with verbal cues and hands on assists, not visual demonstrations. Students should be comfortable with rigorous surya namaskara; advanced standing balances (i.e. bird of paradise), forward bending (i.e. kurmasana) and backbending (full urdhva dhanurasana), headstand and other inversions. Modifications are fine, but students are expected to have strong knowledge of modifications. Students with a history of injuries are advised to check with the instructor before planning to attend the class.

Bootcamp Body

Join us for a heart-pumping, fat burning, body sculpting workout that centers around the Pilates Reformer. This unique class will cross-train the body by featuring classical bootcamp style moves such as squats, lunges, pushups, and dips but with a Pilates mind. The reformer exercises will offer the addition of props and will challenge the entire body from top to bottom. Although this class is open-level, we request that you have adequate experience with Pilates reformer and the Pilates method. Even though this is “bootcamp” we’re still practicing Pilates- precision is the utmost importance! Not sure if you’re ready for the class? Just ask one of our awesome instructors!
