I go to salons twice a month, and I take a girl's day every month with my two daughters every month. I recently moved to Brooklyn, and someone recommended that I try Patrone's for my trips.
From the second I stepped into the salon, the workers were not friendly. During my manicure and haircut, both the salonist and the manicurist did not speak to me (only to each other) and did not smile. I told the salonist exactly how I wanted my hair, and had it done about a year before then at a different salon, with perfect results. She cut my hair too short, even though I told her only three inches, and added layers even though I wanted my hair to be even.
I do my own at-home manicures, and go to salons when I don't feel like doing them myself. My manicure chipped after a day, even though I received Shellac and was guaranteed 20 days, and even though I did no abnormal work (did not wash dishes that night, clean, etc.)
When I called and asked to talk to the owner, she was at first extremely defensive, saying that it must have been my fault for showing the wrong picture, telling the wrong amount of hair to the salonist, and then that I must have done too much work and that was why my nails had chipped. I am never going back there.

Have been going to Patrone's since they opened and it is still one of my favorite places to be 8 years later. Whether it's just for a haircut, a color (purple now thank you very much), a relaxing massage or the newest "shellac" manicure, I am always at home at Patrone's with personal attention given to every detail, welcoming and knowledgeable staff, and wonderful warm customer service! Can you tell I really like it there? They have a ton of services to offer and really do listen to the client and make sure that you have what you want and what you need. The list of services is too big to detail, but their wonderful website has a menu with all of their fabulous offerings. Next time yu are looking for something special or even just your ordinary services, you really should give them a try - you will LOVE it!

As soon as you walk into the door your are kindly welcomed and offered a beverage. The atmosphere is relaxing with a hint of excitement for all the services and reasonable priced products. I would highly recommend getting a massage here and getting a hair cut from knowledgeable stylists.

Took my mom to get a spa package called "Queen for a Day". She and I had such a wonderful experience! Everyone there was really kind and very professional, staff seemed to know everything we could possibly need, want or desire before we even thought of it. Services were fantastic and we truly felt like queens before we left. We were both really suprised at how warm and welcoming the place and staff were. Mom would like to make this a regular part of her visits when she's in town. I hope she visits more often!

I took my daughter here for a pedicure. She has had pedicures before and had no problems. Although the rest of the staff was friendly, the nail tech hardly cracked a smile or spoke. We were disenchanted to see that the foot spa was the same kind used in every person's home, not a typical salon spa. The ususaly price for the pedicure was $40 ( we ended up getting a "deal" on that day for $25). The very next day, 4 of my daughter's toe nails were chipped! She had not gone swimming or done anything out of the ordinary. Usually her pedicures last for weeks.
Very disappointed. I will definitely not go back or recommend this salon.

We weren't quite sure what to think before heading out to this spa for our annual "girl's weekend". Since we weren't familiar with the area, and the city seemed rather small. However, we were delightfully surprised at the high level of quality and service we discovered. I highly recommend this spa. It's comparable to many upscale salons and spas in larger metropolitan cities and I would definitely go back again. I had a stone massage and it was very relaxing.
