Taught and designed by Certified Pilates Instructor and Pre/postnatal Specialist, Rebecca Nelson. Get a safe and complete workout on the EXO Chair & ORBIT, often incorporating the stability ball and other props. This program is designed specifically for pre & post-natal clients, however, all populations are welcome and will benefit from this program, including those with spinal limitations. We will address the needs of this special population such as lengthening tight hamstrings & hip flexors, and strengthening upper & side back muscles and obliques. This class will focus on exercises that encourage the use of the transversus abdominus (deep abdominal muscles) to support and stabiize the pelvis, rather than an over-emphasis of the rectus abdominus which can lead to diastasis of the rectus or the neglect of the transversus abdominus. Take your Pilates experience to the next level with one of the most challenging pieces of Pilates equipment, ensuring an invigorating workout that has more of an emphasis on cardio than any of our other classes. This apparatus class utilizes the EXO Chair in a flow style class. The EXO Chair is a modern twist on one of Joseph Pilates' original pieces of Pilates equipment, the "Wunda Chair". You will perform various intermediate Wunda Chair exercises as well as all the exercises that can be done on the Cadillac/Trapeze table while uitilizing springs. ORBIT Flex & Stretch Fundamentals-Level 1 (apparatus)

Gently flex, stretch and swing your way to a longer, leaner and stronger body with the ORBIT. This class will be focusing on the side stabilizer muscles, (the obliques, serratus, latissmus dorsi, glute medius/minimus) and core stabilzers such as the transversus abdominus. This allows any pre/postnatal women to participate as well as anyone who may have spinal limitations preventing them from performing forward flexion and/or supine exercises. Many of the exercises will be performed while standing and kneeling. EXO Level 2 (apparatus)

Take your Pilates experience to the next level with one of the most challenging pieces of Pilates equipment, ensuring an invigorating workout that has more of an emphasis on cardio than any of our other classes. This apparatus class utilizes the EXO Chair in a flow style class. The EXO Chair is a modern twist on one of Joseph Pilates' original pieces of Pilates equipment, the "Wunda Chair". You will perform various intermediate Wunda Chair exercises as well as all the exercises that can be done on the Cadillac/Trapeze table while uitilizing springs. Taught by a BASI Certified Pilates Instructor, designed by Rebecca Nelson, Pre/postnatal Specialist & BASI Certified Pilates Instructor.
