Yoga Barre

Yoga Barre combines the tradition of yoga and the discipline of various dance based postures. Brothers and sister if infants who are beyond crawling are welcome to come with only at Arlington location. Great for getting out of the house, getting in shape after giving birth, bonding with your baby and meeting other moms with newborns. This class includes breathing, stretching, abdominal/core strengthening, upper body strengthening, and glut toning yoga asanas. Many of the exercises will be done with baby in arms. Some infant massage also incorporated during the end of class relaxation exercises. If babies are sleeping, they can stay in a stroller, a car seat or next to their mom on a blanket during class. No previous yoga experience is necessary. Modifications to poses will be given based on students' experience. All levels welcome. Infant CPR

Choking is the #1 cause of unintentional death in infants. Infant CPR is for new parents, grandparents, family members and other caretakers who wants to learn lifesaving infant CPR and choking skills. Cost is $35 per person. Pilates Mat I

Our beginner mat class introduces you to the principles of Pilates while strengthening and stretching your entire body, decompressing your spine and improving posture. You will learn to use your deep abdominal and spinal muscles and how to modify the moves to a level appropriate for you. Individual attention is provided to make beginners feel at ease. Yoga Barre

Yoga Barre combines the tradition of yoga and the discipline of various dance based postures. Incorporating Vinyasa warm-ups and Asanas to bring heat to the body followed by barre work to strengthen and tone the core and legs. At times we do some toning of the arms with light weights. You will find a variety of music throughout the session--some guiding the speed of the movement and some encouraging of the mind, body, and breath connection. Come check it out! Train your abdominals effectively and safely with this postpartum focused workout. Modified Pilates mat and standing leg toning Barre exercises are combined to strengthen all the right muscles while bonding with your baby at the same time. Bring a blanket and carrier (Bjorn, Ergo etc) for baby and anything else you might need (bucket car seat, boppy, bottles, etc). This class is for YOU so anything goes, don't worry if baby needs to feed or cry, just come! No Pilates or Barre experience necessary.

Flow Yoga I/II

This Vinyasa/flow style class will take you deep into optimal muscle release as each posture builds upon the other resulting in a systematic release of the body's tension and stress. By incorporating static postures for deeper release and flowing through posture sequences and Vinyasas we allow our bodies to experience not only muscle lengthening, but also refresh each muscle, tendon and connective tissue with vital breath. This class is perfect for every yoga level as the instructor will provide posture options to take it deeper, keep it at a moderate stretch, or simply enjoy the mild release.

Pilates Barre

It includes both barre and mat exercises. Fundamentals of classic Pilates are respected: centering, controlling, breathing, concentration, flow and precision. Pilates Barre workout strengthens the entire body from tip to toe, focusing on shaping and toning bum, thighs, calves and core. Previous experience in Ballet or Pilates not required - anyone can attend the class!

Flow Yoga I/II-Jivamukti

Jivamukti Yoga is a vigorously physical and intellectually stimulating Vinyasa/flow style of yoga that reintegrates the physical, philosophical and spiritual aspects of Yoga and explores yoga practice as a path to enlightenment. Classes consist of Vinyasa (flowing asana sequences), hands-on adjustments, Sanskrit chanting, philosophical teachings, uplifting music, meditation and deep relaxation.

Mommy & Me Yoga (moms & babies before crawling age)

Please sign up ahead of time, this class fills. Wait-listed clients will be emailed confirmation of admittance into class. Brothers and sister if infants who are beyond crawling are welcome to come with only at Arlington location. Great for getting out of the house, getting in shape after giving birth, bonding with your baby and meeting other moms with newborns. This class includes breathing, stretching, abdominal/core strengthening, upper body strengthening, and glut toning yoga asanas. Many of the exercises will be done with baby in arms. Some infant massage also incorporated during the end of class relaxation exercises. If babies are sleeping, they can stay in a stroller, a car seat or next to their mom on a blanket during class. No previous yoga experience is necessary. Modifications to poses will be given based on students' experience. All levels welcome. Breast feeding and changing diapers during or after class is welcome.
