Today I was excited to be headed to a spa and told anyone that would listen where I was headed, since I thought this would be a much needed stress buster. However, the opposite happened!!
Though it is obvious the architect and interior designer's goal to create a relaxing zen atmosphere, the staff were obviously not made aware of this mission . From the obviously inexperienced, chatty aesthetician doing my facial to the rough therapist doing my massage, I left there jarred and confused instead balanced. The service was sub-par to say the least!!!
Having now been in business and of service to our community for 18 years, we take all critiques and feedback very seriously. While it appears that we may have failed to meet ShamideJ's expectations, we want to emphasize that we will do whatever is in our power to redress her concerns to her full satisfaction, as we have consistently done over the years for our valued clients.
Deep tissue massage, our specialty, which is what was requested by, and therefore provided, to this visitor, may not have been the appropriate choice. We have and still do provide soothing, stress-reduction massage of a gentler nature. It's a tough call to make without sufficient feedback from the client before and during the treatment.
Our staff undergoes rigorous training and extensive continuing education. They are very conscientious and highly knowledgeable. Nevertheless, a review of the circumstances behind this visit will be made to see where adjustments may be called for.
We sincerely hope that ShamideJ will allow us to give her that much-needed stress buster she is seeking, as I know we can!
