What a fabulous hideaway in the mountains! Was the perfect retreat I needed to get away from Atlanta: their wonderful "Sweet Dreams Body Wrap", hiking through the lush, green Great Smoky Mountains and the gourmet coffeehouse were a treat! Can't wait to go back.

Rustic chic is the perfect description of this mountain get-away. My sweetheart and I vacation at Lakeview several times a year enjoying two three-day weekends in the fall and spring and a week long stay in late May/early June. When the weather is sunny we like to ride our bikes and hike on the many gorgeous trails close by, lounge at the pool, sit in the cafe and check emails while sipping delicious coffee from the french press. Trips into the town close by are lazy and charming with mystic mountains in the background. Our favorite thing to do is cook dinner together and sit out on the porch while we eat...oh wait! I just remembered...my massage was the best of my life. That is a must!!!

We were both frazzled and fried when we drove into Lakeview at Fontana. Three days later, as my daughter and I headed home, we were renewed and RELAXED!
The recipe: Excellent attention from TeTia, Yoga every morning- not the pretzel sort but just an hour of breathing, stretching and centering for the day- then off to the Smokey Mountain National Park to hike and enjoy the natural world. No thinking required - plans made at your request. Directions handed before one could ask. Wine and cheese in the evening, a deck with a view, fruit, pastries and press pot coffee each morning in a European eatery, spa massage from the best. And on the last evening - 2 hours Kayaking the Lake - Mike and friends - laughing as we paddled into the silence of the natural world. No experience required - just the willingness to relax. We did - the best trip we have taken. Renewed mother and daughter still smiling.

I did a girls night in package and it was the best getaway I have had in as long as I can remember. Everyone was so friendly and accomodating. Even the pets (Mattie & Sawyer) were friendly! My treatments were great and I loved the yoga classes. We plan to make this an annual get away from the hubby retreat!

We accidently found this fabulous Inn & Spa - and it was an incredible find! You feel like you've fallen into a quaint Mediterranean village, the entire place has so much character. The staff were extremely helpful, the rooms were more than we could expect (we had a one-bedroom kitchenette), the spa services were excellent, and there aren't words to express how incredible the views are! Meeting new people at the wine & cheese reception each night was definately a plus. Rustic chic definately describe this place to a tee - and you can't help but relax while you are there. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I took my mother to Lakeview this past weekend her Mother's Day/ Birthday gift. We both got more than we had anticipated. The natural beauty is outstanding. You wake up in the morning with the birds singing to you. The cafe greats you in the morning with the smell of fresh coffee that wakes the senses as you approach. The staff are down to earth and helpful as to things to do in the area. The spa is amazing, Laura was wonderful with the "All in One" massage that I booked. I could not have asked for anymore for my mom to have had a wonderful weekend. She will be getting this trip as a gift for many, many years to come. I can not say enough good things about this spa and the people who own and run it. It is a slice of heaven.

I selected this spa through spafinder.com only because I was going to be in the area for two, unscheduled days. My stay was so terrific, I plan to return--even though I'm three time zones away.
Picture a tiny Italian village, on a winding road in the hills, overlooking a spectacular gorge. That's the feeling when you drive in--complete with outdoor cafe.
Rooms are varied and private. Pricing is so reasonable you wonder how they do it. Think retreat, with spa amenities. So quiet, so peaceful.
Get up with the birds--there's no other sound out here. Wander over to the cafe for a latte and fresh baked goods. Or their signature egg-and-bacon sandwich. (Even the dieters couldn't resist.) Stretch your muscles with a morning yoga class. Then, oh, maybe a treatment, or a trip to town, or a hike--or maybe just curl up with a book.
As I discovered, it's a welcoming place if you're traveling alone. It's a perfect girlfriend getaway. Active couples will like the nearby hiking trails of the Smoky Mountains. As for spa treatments--don't miss the ltinate Foot Massage. Ooooh.
This spa is unlike any other. No crowds. No pretention. Just pampering and peace. Don't we all need a few days of that!

My husband and I had a very peaceful, relaxing time at Lakeview. Lots of hiking. The spa treatments were excellent. It is a very rustic place, very simple but the service is friendly, enthusiastic and efficient. We really enjoyed our visit and would certainly return again.
