Originally developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates as a rehabilitation method, the popularity of this core-strengthening and spine-aligning workout has since spread around the world like wildfire. The practice, often called the Pilates method, is meant to improve mental and physical wellbeing, increase flexibility, and strengthen muscles through a series of controlled movements and breathing that engage both the body and mind. Working on the Pilates principles of intelligent movement within the yoga framework of postures and breathe. Safe movement class focusing on strenth and mobility and relaxation. Also includes some Gyrokinesis.

Break down the "moves" and ideas in this 1 hour class. May be some floor work but most of the class in done seated on stools. Mobllizing and elongate the body and the breath. Find ease of movment and flow. Part dance, gymnastics, swimming, tai chi, yoga and laughter.
