About Breathe Studio
A Place to Breathe Meditation Studio is a studio primarily focusing on meditation of all varieties, but also offers workshops that promote wellbeing. In their own lives, the staff of Breathe Studio found meditation and alternative healing were essential complements to Western therapies. The founders of Breathe Studio used these practices in times of extreme stress, both physical and mental, and found healing on many levels. The benefits were so powerful that meditation became part of their daily lives and continues to expand their relationship with themselves and with others.Location

Slow Flow Yoga
Slow Flow- A moving meditation, using the breath as a tool to stretch and unwind the body, open the heart, and enter into spirit. With an emphasis on alignment/ body awareness, Slow Flow is wonderful for anyone being introduced to a vinyasa practice where each posture flows into the next. As the body is opened through movement, we are then invited to sink in to a deep relaxation/meditation to round out the class. |

Restorative Yoga
Stress-Less Restoratives offer deliciously comfortable and enjoyable poses that quickly bring your calming (parasympathetic) nervous system to full capacity. This system governs rest and rejuvenation and the optimal functioning of your metabolism. Carefully set up props (blankets,bolsters) support your body and nervous system in profound relaxation and self-nurturing -no doing; just being, witnessing and enjoying. If you can get on and off the floor, you will be able to enjoy this practice. Wear comfortable clothes, preferably with long pants and sleeves - socks are recommended. |
