Mighty Moms: Yoga to Empower Mom - Mind, Body & Spirit

A workshop just for moms! Below are some of the most common sentiments I have heard expressed by moms who have taken my yoga classes. My reason for offering this 2-hour workshop is so moms can share these feelings with their peers within a nurturing and productive framework.- We too often neglect ourselves to take care of others.- The challenges we face as mothers take a toll on us mentally and emotionally.- Our bodies physically change and we can feel as if our bodies “no longer belong to us.” In this workshop will discuss ways to take care of our mental & emotional health as moms, including learning simple, yet powerful meditation. And, we will learn three different "easy-to-remember" yoga flow sequences, each addressing different needs, including core work. Group discussion will be encouraged in this workshop, so we can learn from each other as well.
