  The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, on Ka'anapali Beach, Hawaii, is surrounded by lush gardens, surging streams, and waterfalls, and has views of the Pacific Ocean and the West Maui Mountains. Guest rooms and suites take advantage of the splendid views, as does the ocean-view lounge in the Heavenly Spa by Westin.   The resort's 87,000-square-foot aquatic playground includes five swimming lagoons, a Jacuzzi, and two waterslides. Nearby, the Ka'anapali Golf Course has hosted PGA Seniors Pro-Am events; other off-site activities include shopping, hiking, theatrical performances, and sightseeing. At the resort, a plethora of water sports, boating excursions, and beach activities are available. The 15,000-square-foot spa has 16 treatment rooms, including two candlelit couple's massage rooms and an outdoor massage cabana, as well as a relaxation lounge, sauna, whirlpool, and hydrotherapy tub. In the pre-treatment room, guests can relax with a cup of tea while they select a signature aromatherapy oil to be used in their treatments. The spa offers personalized massage, skin-care, and body therapies featuring Maui lavender, cocoa butter and other island essences. Treatments include the coffeeberry yoga facial treatment, waiu and meli (milk and honey scrub) and coconut milk bath, along with the relax and renewal heavenly massage and facial. After all treatments, guests are given dark chocolate infused with white tea.

Five free-form swimming pools can be found at the resort; other aquatic activities include water-based exercise classes and aqua yoga. The 24-hour gym features LifeFitness and Precor equipment as well as classes in yoga, Pilates, body sculpting, and Spinning taught in an open-air studio. A salon offers manicures, pedicures, hair braiding and extensions, and makeup services. The spa also offers services for brides, as well as a private room for pre-ceremony cocktails and spa cuisine.

There's plenty to do on the resort's 12-acre property. The 87,000-square-foot aquatic area is a prime attraction, with five swimming pools, a Jacuzzi, waterfalls, a swim-through grotto with twin waterfalls, a hidden whirlpool, and 128-foot waterslide. Other water activities include scuba diving, sailing, snorkeling, and windsurfing at nearby beaches. Chartered catamaran boat trips can take guests on a sunset sail or a whale-watching excursion. Sports enthusiasts will enjoy the championship Ka'anapali Golf Course, hiking, beach volleyball, tennis, and jogging trails marked on complimentary Runner's World maps.

At the Westin Kids Club Discovery Room, kids can experience Hawaiian culture through dance, arts and crafts, and games during day and evening programs. Adults can participate in the resort's Unwind programs, which including such cultural highlights as fire dances, hula performances, and fireside stories, as well as hula and lei-making classes. Kids eat free at OnO (which means "delicious" in Hawaiian), This bistro-style bar and restaurant, located in a garden courtyard setting, features a breakfast buffet and a Hawaiian-style tapas dinner. Adults can go to the Beach Bar for poolside drinks on an adults-only pool deck at Oahu's, which offers special meals for couples in secluded outdoor alcoves attended by private wait staff.
