GYROKINESIS
Participants mobilize the spine through a series of 3 dimensional functional movements. All classes integrate strength, flexibility, coordination, balance and breath work seamlessly melded together. These movement patterns effectively release tension throughout the body. This form of exercise is more flowing, as in dance, tai-chi or swimming, than traditional exercises. You leave feeling a sense of rejuvenation in your body and mind that carries over into everyday living. |

In this class we use the rings, rollers, CoreBands, therabands, and balls to explain and deepen our understanding of the Pilates technique and experience proper form. The props aide in the explanation to the body of proper form as well as either supporting or challenging the Pilates repertoire. Cost: $18/class. Discounted multi-class packages are available. |

TRX Level 1
Level 1 TRX is designed for those new to TRX and will focus on form and alignment. The tempo will be variable so that each individual can work at an appropriate level to do the work in good form and be able to adjust independently. The TRX Suspension Training System really highlights ANY imbalance you might have and forces you to work more symmetrically. The tag-line for TRX Suspension Training is "All core all the time" (true by the way). This class will help get you to the next level of fitness by working to improve your technique, flexibility, coordination and strength of all muscle groups. |
