Kiva Spa

Step out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Chicago into the tranquility of Kiva.I loved the delicious tea that I was served while waiting for my massage.The dressing rooms and showers were nice. Overall, the place seemed small, but very, modern, peaceful, clean and staff friendly.The massage was wonderful and overall experience top notch.I would highly recommend Kiva. Prices are high, but comparable to the area.

From the moment you walk in and change into a robe and slippers you start to feel special. The relaxation room is great so show up with some time before your scheduled time to be able to utilize it fully and totally relax. The services are great and have revisted several times with the same facialist who knows me and my skin. Now I don't even have to give a history...she knows it and remembers it. The foot reflexalogy is great and was o effective I felt great afterwards! I wanted a little more relaxation so I sat in the relaxation room and then in the steam room. Great day! Everyone is friendly and the towles are plentiful.

My family and I plan an annual spa outing every june. We usually go to another spa right down the street, but decided to try a new spa this year. Kiva received outstanding reviews and was even rated top ten day spa in Chicago. I have no idea why. The staff the greated you at in the front was very unfriendly and treated you as if you were bothering them. They simply told you to go up stairs and get ready, handed you a locker key and sent you on your way. The massages were fair, but nothing out of the ordinary. The facial was horrible!!! I receive several facials throughout the year, and this one by fair was the worst I have ever dad. They do not use a variety of cleansers and I definately did not feel like got my 90 dollars worth. Not to mention the 17 dollars I paid for the exfoliation. For a top rated spa, the relaxation room consisted of for sofa chairs in a spa room. no loungers....how do you relax in a chair?? At the check out, the receptionists again acted as if you were doing them harm by trying to check out. They were rude and ruined an OK. experience. Even if our experience was amazing their attitude would result in us never going back. I dont think we will ever visit this spa again. Waste of money!!!!

The Body Polish service leaves your skin soft and supple. You will feel totally refreshed aftwards. The Serenity Massage was also very good. So good in fact, I fell asleep. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. I will be visiting again soon!
