Amanda Lauer (RYT-200) is inspired to lead you through practices based on Nancy McCaochan''s book Yoga at the Wall focusing on the following concepts: "The wall creates external resistance; simultaneously it increases mechanical leverage to optimize both stretching and strength building. The wall also gives needed support, taking fear out of the equation or showing us where fear prevents us from learning. Finally, a wall teaches the basics of aligning the body, which increases our proprioception and our ability to feel and open.
