Anu Cardio/Strength program is based in the belief that you deserve a fitness program that you enjoy, one that will benefit you in the long-term. We are all different. The experiences we have had in our lives, combined with lifestyle choices and our genetics, make up who we are. How we do what we do, makes up how we are. The more we individually understand how our bodies work, the smarter and healthier we become. We combine the health benefits of cardiovascular exercise, balanced complex muscular strength weight training and awareness through action, that delivers a well balanced exercise program and ultimately a healthier you! Each student will have access to dumbbells ranging from (5) to (30) pounds, a weight mat, and an in-class movement mat. Our Cardio class is structured around a combination of aerobic and anaerobic conditioning exercising. Each member of our Cardio Strength training team has experience instructing classes here in the Fox Cities over the last eight years.

Vinyasa Yoga

Develop stability, strength and stamina with classic and contemporary asanas (postures). This class incorporates a blend of asanas including all basic movements of the hips, shoulders and spine. Class usually includes the vinyasa, Surya Namaskar (sun salutations). The word Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement.” In other words, the teacher will instruct you to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale. This technique is sometimes also called Vinyasa Flow, or just Flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance.

Tabata Is a powerful training method that was developed by its namesake, Dr. Izumi Tabata and a team of researchers from the National Institute of Fitness and Sports in Tokyo, Japan. It has been called the world’s greatest fat burning workout as it is high intensity interval training which utilizes 8 exercises all done in 4 minute intervals. Tabata can be used for weight loss as well as improving overall fitness A Tabata Interval (also called a Tabata sequence) is an interval training cycle of 20 seconds of maximum intensity exercise, followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated without pause 8 times for each area of focus. Tabata is a healthy, smart choice for your exercise component of your well being practice.
