Janis is the best. Simply the best. She takes time like no other, she uses tools like no other place, she is soothing- understands your skin type and works to improve your skin- not just grab your dollars.
I will never go anywhere else for facial- ever!

I dont get facials often so I can't say I have a lot of different spas to compare Janis Chakler Skin Care to, but I was really happy with my experience. This is not one of those big spas with many employees and lots of different services; it is just one room with one professional aethetician who only does facials, which is exactly what i was looking for. I got the Jump Start Facial, which is just a standard facial and my face felt great after. Janis was not over-aggressive with the extractions--which i appreciated because in the last place I got a facial at, it hurt so much--but she was still thorough. I don't have very problematic skin so I cannot speak for more serious treatments, but I'm sure they are good as well. It was not very cheap; I had a $100 gift certificate and I had to add about $35 to it with taxes, but I guess its better to pay a bit more knowing that you will get a good service and the location is convenient, but i'm not sure if i will go if i don't have a gift certificate, at least not often. If you can afford it though, i highly recommend it. Janis is very sweet and professional.
