The architectural highlight of the Coqoon Spa is its signature treatment room, The Nest: Accessed by a “flying” bridge, the treatment area sits perfectly poised amidst the lush branches of a banyan tree. Surrounded by manicured tropical gardens and lush rainforest, the spa features six traditional treatment rooms, as well as a spa suite, which comes outfitted with a private swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and Vichy shower. Couples are invited to reserve the suite for an entire day or for an overnight stay. Under the design expertise of Bill Bensley, the spa reflects a serene, casual vibe upon arrival, bathed in silvery-blue palms and hues from the plumbago flowering plant.
Every treatment, fusing together classic Thai and holistic philosophies with western practices, can be personalized depending on the spa guest’s needs. Offerings use rare plant extracts, Andaman elixirs and Thai herbal spices and include Anne Semonin facials, various massage modalities and bamboo charcoal, pearl and purple frangipani scrubs and wraps, along with the Coqoon Awakening; this signature staple begins with a foot soak and scrub and concludes with a four-hand massage.
Parental supervision is required for spa guests ages 12 to 17 years.

Epicurean delights include Black Ginger, a Thai architectural-designed, mystical-like space floating on a lagoon; Tin Mine, an alfresco restaurant enveloped by tranquil ponds; and the contemporary Rivet Grill steakhouse. For an added treat, guests can enjoy oceanfront dining by torchlight at the Côtémer Beach Club.

When it’s time to play, the Indigo Pearl has plenty to offer. Three swimming pools, one of them family friendly and two for adults only, wind through the property’s grounds, or travelers can head to the stretch of golden beachfront bordering the Andaman Sea. Aquatic adventures abound, with opportunities to snorkel, kayak, wind surf and scuba dive (the resort has its own dive shop).
Guests can have a ball on the resort’s tennis courts or get invigorated in the Technogym-equipped fitness center; yoga classes, Muay Thai boxing, Pilates and tai chi are also available.
