The Peninsula Spa is an escape from city life, with exclusive, timeless treatments and an earthy, contemporary vibe created by organic elements and cinnabar, amber and charcoal tones. The 35,000-square-foot facility is located on the top three floors and has 12 rooms, including a private couple’s suite, furnished with dual treatment beds, a steam shower and double bath; a glass-enclosed swimming pool, overlooking expansive views of Fifth Avenue and Central Park, and seasonal terrace add to the spa’s allure. Relaxation lounges come with individual beds trimmed in down comforters and Frette linens, personal sound systems and individually controlled lighting.

Spa-goers begin their journey with a welcome tea in the Asian tea lounge prior to treatments,followed by an in-depth consultation with their therapist in their treatment room. Treatments are inspired by holistic European and Ayurvedic practices.
