I was given a SpaFinder gift card for my birthday and I was told I can redeem it at Vixen.
I was greeted with complimentary coffee, the place was so clean and smelt euphoric. I was also given a Vixen Treat (a signature dessert) during my pedicure.
I also got a great facial.
My nails looked wonderful, I will definitely be back!

I wrote the original review and was quite surprised to see the response from a lady claiming to know me. To start with when I went, it was 10 o'clock on a Friday morning, so not sure what she is referencing about close to closure, also no male was in sight. It was one staff member with one lady in the chair, nobody else was around. I did not cause a scene and accepted what was said to me and left. Obviously, the salon has a history of making these types of comments if the reviewer felt it was me she was talking about. This just reinforces my original comments, must happen quite frequently.

We recommend our clients book an appointment to guarantee availability as our spa is often very busy. I don't usually write reviews-but felt compelled to after reading the first review by the woman who came to the spa on August 14th as a walk-in 15 minutes before close. I'm sorry her perception of how she was treated was so poor - I was actually a customer in the spa that evening with my husband receiving pedicures as a treat for our 7 year anniversary. My husband had booked us 1 hour appointments a week in advance and we were only half way through our treatments when she came (they actually stayed late with us-as they did on a previous girls day visit I went to with my Step-Mom & Sister; we kind of "took over" the spa for 6 hours) The owner Karen was also with a client at the time of this walk in.
The only interaction this person had was with Karen, who was in the middle of a service, neither my husband or I felt like she was treated inappropriately. They even offered to book her an appointment for another day. It's not like anyone was talking about her after she left.. they all just went back to completing our services and interacting with us.
My husband and I THOROUGHLY enjoyed our pedicures and had a great time laughing and joking enjoying the comp WiFi, Tea and treats. Will definitely be back again! Thank you ladies!

This spa has not idea what customer service is, I went for the first time and received a dirty look upon entering as the staff member was interrupted while conducting a pedicure. Immediately felt uncomfortable and then made to feel like an idiot as I had not booked an appt even though web site advised walk in's welcome. I would never recommend this spa to anyone. I am thankful that I had not booked an appointment I can only imagine what they would have done to me once they had me in their chair.
