This is not a workout. This 30 minute workshop is for members and is designed to improve your kettlebell technique. The Technique Workshop is NOT JUST FOR BEGINNERS! Everyone can benefit from this workshop. Our training style is an art and the nuances of technique can be difficult to master. If you want to become efficient with kettlebells, truly efficient, you should attend. In this workshop, you will learn more in depth about proper body positioning, hand placement, how to generate movement from the appropriate places, and more. Each week will be different from the one before and you will have a chance to have your individual questions answered and your technique improved for better results overall.

Yoga

This is a non-judgmental, non-competitive class. You will be practicing Hatha Yoga, this simply means that you are practicing the physical, movement based, flowing aspect of Yoga. Yoga has come to be defined as the physical practice or "Asana" practice (Asana means Pose or Posture). This is what you will practice at 212. There will be poses for strengthening, stretching and rest. You will be taught breathing and centering practices. You will begin right where you are, you absolutely do not have to have any experience. Yoga is always practice; you do not have to get it right. You will flow from one experience to another, moving with your individual rhythm of breath with the goal of cultivating a quiet mind. You will create the possibility for moving from one moment to the next in a state of focused, calm concentration. There are modifications and variations for every pose and practice. You will learn quickly.
