Purna is a school of yoga founded by Aadil Palkhivala, blending alignment-oriented asana practice with a heart-centered spiritual one. Mom & Baby
Come give yourself some time to be in your body and still be with your baby. Yoga poses, breath work, stretching, and core strengthening are taught to reclaim your postpartum body, mind and spirit. This class also offers a community of other new mothers for support and information. All are welcome; experience with pre-natal yoga here or anywhere else is not a prerequisite for attendance. Iyengar & Purna Inspired 1 & 2
Purna is a school of yoga founded by Aadil Palkhivala, blending alignment-oriented asana practice with a heart-centered spiritual one. Aadil studied with the grand maestro Iyengar for years and has made his own innovations in the discipline in order to adapt the classical yogic practices to a modern world, making these practices particularly more accessible for Westerners. The idea is allowing students to realize the benefits of the study of yoga more easily and in ways relevant to their personal lives and beliefs. This I'm blending with what I know of Iyengar, as I've been returning to the roots of this lineage, utilizing all the techniques I find useful to inform practice.
