I had an outstanding time today. I left relaxed and very happy. Carissa was very attentive and recommended stretches and future appointments. Donna was very kind and attentive as well. She checked on future appointments for me and took very good care of me. I left rejuvenated and refreshed.

I received SpaFinder gift certificates from a client and decided to use them at Dansk after reading the reviews in here. I was impressed with the good reviews, but even more impressed that the owner took the time to respond to the poor reviews (which were pretty weak, in my opinion). I scheduled a deep tissue massage and the entire experience did not disappoint. I was greeted with kindness and the pampering began when I walked in the door just from the reception! I filled out a client info sheet that enabled me to write down my areas of concern, as well as preferences for the massage (talking vs no talking, aromatherapy choices, etc). My massage therapist, Carissa, was friendly, knowledgable, and strong! My hip flexors are a problem area and she not only worked on them really well, she also gave me stretches and yoga poses to do on my own to help continue the work she did. She also focused on some really tight areas in my neck and shoulders. I was stuffy after being on my stomach, and fell in love with flipping back over and having hot, peppermint-infused towels wrapped around my face to drain my sinuses. Wonderful! I will return and definitely try other services as well--if that massage was any indication, I'm in for a treat!

My visit on Friday was wonderful, everything an afternoon at the spa is supposed to be. I treated myself to The Rejuvenation package and I have to tell you, it is appropriately named. I felt wonderful when I left. Lori and Monica were just great! I must say that I especially enjoyed the facial. I have very dry skin and Lori took particular care in hydrating it. I came to the spa about an hour after a very sweaty workout so my skin was particularly dehydrated. In the past when I've had facials at other spas, the effects of the facial only last until the next time I wash my face. But today my skin is still as hydrated, soft and supple as it was when I left the spa Friday afternoon. As a matter of fact, yesterday a co-worker (male!) asked about my glowing skin. You've earned a customer for life. Thanks again!

I received a SpaFinders gift card from a friend and found Dansk Day Spa through the website. I knew I wanted a massage but wasn't sure which one, so over the phone I was asked questions by the staff member to find out what I was looking for, my past massage experience, etc. She suggested a therapeutic massage as it is a good combination of deep tissue and relaxation - it was the perfect choice. My massage was great, the staff was polite and asked questions to customize my experience there, and within a week, I've already received a handwritten correspondence thanking me for coming and a coupon to come back for other services. I definitely will be using them again.

i am dansk day spa customer since last year and seen one of the review about her certificate well i don't know bout that but the comment about the staff i think this ain't fair for them coz i thought they all good and very nice to the customer i won't comin back to this spa if i am not receiving a good service... anyway just got back from jamaica and before my vacation i went to dansk and had my hair waxing the service was good and i enjoyed it so much now i am coming back there to have my tanning to keep my tan color from jamaica.... dansk spa!!!! you the best!!!!! good service and everything!!!!

I recently went to this spa with a group of my friends. The service was great. The called several times, and were patient through many versions of who wanted what. For my services, I did the full spa package. I would strongly recommend the massage. For me it was the best part. Having never had a facial, Im not sure how I would rate this one. The mani-pedi was good, not exceptional. However, as I said before the massage was GREAT!!! I will definetly be booking more.

I've been a customer at Dansk for several years. But after my last experience, I will no longer return. I called to schedule a massage and asked if I could use my SpaFinder certificate with a coupon and was told yes. For my massage, I was in a room directly across from the bathroom and some of the staff were talking in the lobby area. Needless to say, throughout my massage I could hear all the girls talking and people going in and out the bathroom, which was not relaxing. When I went to check out and handed my certificates and coupon, the front desk said I could only use on or the other. I said that when I called I was told I could use them both. The front desk girl responded that I couldn't do that nor could I use the certificate toward gratuity. I told her I was not explained this when booked my appointment, she responded "well I've been telling people all day that they can't do that so I don't know why I would have told you that". She then followed this up with a comment of "I wish I had a recording of that". I was finally able to use both after she called the owner, but her attitude and lack of professionalism made me realize I was not valued as a customer. I'll take my business elsewhere from now on.

We explain to all clients the parameters of how we can except the SpaFinder gift certificate. However, since this client pointed out weaknesses in our policy, we have ensured that there is no room for misunderstandings of any kind, and we thank her for that. We value SpaFinder and the wonderful clients their certificates bring, and we want all experiences to be as perfect as possible. Our staff is very professional, it is deeply disappointing to all of us when a client believes they are not valued.

My husband and I visited Dansk Day spa and was pleasantly surprised. It was a quaint little spot in the heart of Occoquan. We both had the same type of facial but my husband did not receive the head and neck massage that I did. I also wish there was a private waiting room instead of having to wait in the area where the receptionist sits and customers come in. We had a nice visit and will visit again because it is nice enough and it is close to our home.

i've been here several time before i go to san diego and before my husband and i had a blast summer vacation in ocean city.... i had tanning here and hair removal and massage, its so cool in here and people are good they did a good job and ofcourse i will come back here this one of my favorite spa which also near in my place.....

I visited the spa yesterday for a basic sweedish massage. Not only did the therapist give me a great massage, she also helped me with pain I have been experiencing in my hands and lower back from constant computer use. I now have a 30 second exercise to perform a few times a day to prevent future injury. Very nice bonus I wasn't expecting.

I originally rated this spa with low scores due to the experience I had. They redeemed themselves! I forgot to update my review about that experience. Below you will find my updated experience: P.S. Susan is GREAT. I was surprised that I was contacted by the owner of the spa about my original review. I am happy to say that my concerns were acknowledged and that the staff would be advised of those concerns. The owner offered for me to come in for a massage. It was excellent. I was seen by Susan of whom is very skillful. I will definitely be requesting her from now on. She did the extra things that make the experience extra ordinary...i.e. wiping down any excess oils, attentive to likes and dislikes without being personally offended...etc. It was refreshing to know that there are still some business owners that appreciate repeat business and care what their clients concerns are! If they keep this up I this will definitely be my regular place to receive spa services.

I have always been one to go to a Spa that someone reviews badly to see for myself the problem. I got the Exhausted Mom's Package. Expecting the worse, I got the best. The Spa may be small in size but the treatments are big. You are the only one that matters. How Cool is that? Did not feel rushed. The Therapist made me feel very comfortable and by the time I left I felt like family and I cannot wait for another Spa Finders Gift Card. (Hint Family). I'm sorry you had a bad experience, mine was excellent. Finding the right Spa that fills your needs is important. I highly reccomend this to all my friends. Thats why I came on this site to by buy SpaFinders for my friends and send them your way.

I've been to Dansk spa on two occasions and was not satisfied by either visit. For my birthday I treated myself to a massage. I arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment time. I was not called back until 10 minutes after my appointment time was due to start. The masseuse did not make up the time that was lost nor did they offer any type of discount. On the second occasion the same thing happened. I arrived early for my appointment but was started late. In addition, the masseuse took longer than normal to start the session. I am aware that they allow 5 minutes of your scheduled appointment time for you to undress. I was waiting atleast 10 minutes. I do not recommend this spa. You are paying for 50 minutes but getting 30 minutes of actual service.
