I first went for a Gelish manicure in October before a vacation. Lee is amazing and I've been going every month since! The gel is supposed to last 2 weeks, but mine usually lasts 4-5 weeks without chipping! The staff is friendly and professional and the atmosphere is truly spa-like and calming. I highly recommend Amai Day Spa!

AVOID THIS SPA AT ALL COSTS!!!! Owner does not honor her commitment and exudes unprofessionalism on every front! I purchased a $150. day spa treatment (good for $300, worth of services!) through Groupon a number of months ago and called today to book my spa date; I was excited to use it after months of dieting (and almost reaching my goal weight)!!! The Groupon expires in exactly two weeks. I was told the spa was fully booked through that time and the Groupon value of $300. would NO LONGER be honored; instead, I could apply the face value of the coupon ($150) towards spa services. I was very surprised and told the owner that I had waited until this time since I was dieting and had counted on using it as it had been purchased, for $300. worth of services, not $150. No luck. She told me "everyone has a story and everyone has waited until the last minute to call in and use the coupon." I asked her if she would consider allowing me to use the spa services after the expiration date since I was calling two weeks in advance. No deal. I told her I felt this was poor business on her part, I was a new client and had looked forward to trying the spa. I also told her I felt this was very unprofessional. She then HUNG UP ON ME!!! Unbelievable!

I got an express pedicure during one of my girls' days out. It was expertly done, and I felt comfortable the entire time. Amai is in a cute lil shopping center that's convenient to get to, and the technicians are very nice.

I received a 90 minute signature message for a gift from my son, My first time at AMAI was wonderful. The staff and the service was great and the tea. I have issues with ingrown toenails and really dry feet. I have struggled with finding a place that I'm comfortable with, as well as a technician who handles my problem areas. Coco was absolutely wonderful and I've now found my new home for pedicures. Coco was careful, thorough, and an absolute pleasure to meet, and I and my feet thank her.

I had a great experience with Amai spa. I called in for a art minute waxing service and they fit me in with out any trouble the same day. It was one of the best waxwings I have ever had. I also received a note in the mail the following week thanking me. I thought that was a great personal touch.

I decided to pamper myself for my birthday and decided to have all my spa and nail services done at Amai Day Spa and it was the best decision I ever made! I visited the spa previously through one of their excellent Groupon deals and was pleasantly surprised with their customer service and spa expertise. I had never left a spa feeling so wonderfully relaxed and the next day I still felt like I was on cloud nine. I have tried several of their service; body massages, facials, body wraps, body scrubs, spa pedicure and and manicure. Every treatment was performed with expertise and care. They are not overly priced and their excellent service well covers the cost. I promise you will feel like you got a deal every time you visit. I have never bought another spa Groupon since. Amai Day Spa is my number one spa of choice.

I have been going for a monthly massage with Erika for a little over a year. Erika is a wonderful masseuse. It is a wonderful experience in a calm atmosphere, with lovely music in the background, and teas and fruited water available before and after any service. Lately I have been having a pedicure after the massage with Koko, who is very experienced and she does a great job. I usually have the Express pedi but have had the Classic Pedi which includes massage. Since I have the pedi after an hour massage, I get the Express. The pedi lasts an exceptionally long time and my feet are very soft. Many other services are also offered, but I have not had any of them as of yet. I highly recommend the Amai Day spa! The setting in the Country Village is lovely!

I was given a very generous gift certificate to Amai Day Spa and thoroughly enjoyed my 90 minute massage, lst ever facial. The manicure was not the best I ever had, but really liked the manacurist so that made up for the less than stellar manicure. The atmosphere was wonderful - relaxing and intimate. I enjoyed my experience so much that I recently stopped by and got a gift certificate for daughter's 50th birthday. I will go back to Amai Day Spa.

I have been to Amai for many waxing appts and most recently took my 6 year old so we could both get pedicures. The staff was so kind and attentive as this was a first for my daughter. We both enjoyed ourselves very much and will have to make it a start of the school year ritual! Both our pedicures still look wonderful, weeks later!

I recently redeemed my Groupon at Amai for an eyebrow & bikini wax. I was treated like a full-price paying customer and really enjoyed the quaint atmosphere of the spa. My service appointment was quick, on-time and as enjoyable as waxing can be! I will definitely be back soon.

My waxing service was with Jen and she did an excellent job! The waxing was virtually painless and Jen did a great job of making me feel at ease. Not only that but I received a coupon in the mail for a discount on my next service! I will be using it soon. I consider Amai Day Spa a great find!

I love Amai, the staff is always friendly, the spa always clean, and it is always easy to get an appointment.. I've probably spent over $1500 on services there, I don't regret a spending a cent, and will continue to patronize Amai's fantastic treatments

I have always liked the Country Village with the ducks and the roosters all around. Stepping into the Amai Day Spa is instant relaxation. The staff are friendly and flexible. I have been getting facials there for years, and am always happy with the results. I had a Massage for the first time two weeks ago, and I was so relaxed I wanted to take the afternoon off. Unfortunately, I still had to work but was content and focused for the rest of the day. I have also had a Spa party with friends last fall, which was a great time. Good snacks, good service, and I felt very pampered. I would recommend this spa to anyone who wants a group spa experience or an individual session. The products for skin care are fabulous too. I received a gift card for my birthday, and treated myself to a facial at Amai Day Spa, located in Bothell's Country Village, a great place to visit on the weekend. The folks were very nice and my esthetician was very knowledgeable and resourceful. I love the neck and shoulder massage that came with the facial, and the rooms there weren't too dark- they filtered in some natural light from the windows, which relaxed me. The product samples I was sent home turned out to be one of my favorite toners and cleansers. I definitely recommend Amai Day Spa, and look forward to visiting again for my birthday- which may just have to become an annual tradition!

I've been going to the Amai Day Spa for several years and I love it. The selection of services is great, prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and knowledgable. They also have wonderful monthly specials. I've tried several different treatments and enjoyed them all, although my favorite is probably the mud wrap and vichy shower. Highly recommend giving them a try. You'll come back for more!

Koko gave me a wonderful mani/pedi a few weeks ago and it ws the best I have ever had. She was fun to visiti with, very informative on how to keep your cuticles looking their best in between appointments and she had so much attention to detail in applying the nail polish. She pampered me every step of the way to even taking off my shoes and socks, WOW! I still had a beautilful NON CHIPPED manicure a week later. Having had many mani/pedi at many places, I can say this was the best ever. I look forward to having more many mani/pedis with Koko again. Laurie from Lynnwood

The atmosphere was great. I was taken back for my massage, and turns out was given the wrong one. First off let me say that the massage i got wasnt even that great; I have had better. I had booked a couples special (which included strawberrys and cider and strawberry or chocolate cented lotion) via e-mail for my date with my boyfriend. They gave us the regular couples massage which was also $5 more. The massage was a surprise, and of course I didnt realize it was wrong until it was basically done. Their solution to this was to credit me $5 for a future visit. Like that fixes it.. My advise to anyone willing to spend the money for these services is to keep looking. Get your moneys worth.. Somewhere else!

I had a mani-pedi by Koko and it was wonderful. This was my first visit in years (before this location became Amai). It is expanded and totally remodeled with beautiful decor, soothing colors delightful ambiance and aromas.... looking forward to my next appt!

I have been enjoying the charms of Country Village ever since I moved to the area over 30 years ago. This year I discovered Amai Day Spa which all started when my daughter made appointments for their ultimate hand treatments as part of my birthday celebration in February. When it came time to plan her special day in July, I included pedicures for my daughter, sister and myself at Amai. It was especially enjoyable because we were all in the same room having our pedicures done at the same time by three staff members. I have been extremely pleased with all the services that I have tried so far at Amai. The atmosphere at the spa is lovely and relaxing as is the location...'Country Village' in Bothell. The staff is always very friendly, accommodating and attentive. I plan to continue using their services for future birthday celebrations and also to reward myself as I continue to lose weight. Now when I redeem awards received through work, I order SpaFinder gift certificates so I can use them at Amai. That reminds me...I need to book pedicure appointments for my sister's birthday which is right around the corner. It is her time to be 'Queen for a Day'!

After a crazy day I rushed to Amai for a eye brow wax with, Marina. Those at the spa could see I was stressed, and they went the extra mile to help me unwind. After the wax job was completed, Marina, had me lay down on a day sofa for as long as I liked. I got cozy in a blanket and relaxed to the music playing over head. I also heard the crowing of a rooster outside the establishment which brought back happy childhood memories. As I was paying I was offered a complimentary massage which I could not pass up. I went in for one simple service, and I walked away a completely rejuvenated being! Since moving into the area 6 years ago I have been going to Amai for their services. I highly recommend them.

I gave a friend a 4 hour package here for her birthday. The staff was very accommodating with their time and made this a perfect experience for Ginny. She has been to many different spas, so I wanted to make sure that this met her expectations. When I came back to pick her up, she said it was one of the best treatments she had ever had. Her face was glowing from the facial and the massage relaxed her into a dreamy nap. I am looking forward to a trip there for myself. It is a beautiful, homey salon, a place to relax and enjoy.

I am a little surprised by some of the reviews as I have had nothing but good experiences at this spa. It's clean, relaxing, and convenient - right on my way home. I'd recommend it to a friend.

Very friendly and professional staff. I recently had a microderm treatment at Amai and was amazed at the results after just one treatment. I can't wait to have another one! I've also had other treatments such as the power repair facial and it is fabulous. Very relaxing and great results. I will definitely be going back in the near future.

This place is small enough to give you special attention. I did not find it sterile or intimidating. As an infrequent spa goer I thought it was wonderful. I am very suprised to read the negative reviews as I found it to be very friendly. I do know there was a recent change of therapists about the same time the 2 very negative reviews were made, so I would ponder if it is a bashing from them? I really had a good experience and will do it again. Made me feel special.

My sister and I came to the spa for a massage and a facial and we both had wonderful experiences. The owner greeted us and was very professional and pleasant. The services were wonderfully relaxing and reasonably priced and the ambiance of the spa was very peaceful and quaint. I would highly recommend it!

My two daughters and I used our Spa Finder Certificates, 12/31/09, at Amai Day Spa taking advantage of a special that they had going. The ad stated a 30 minute massage and a pedicure. The total time stated was a 90 minute treatment. The whole treatment ended up being very disappointing. The ad claimed that you would sit in a comfy robe while waiting for your treatment. We had our back massages with our jeans and shoes on. I had a misuse who kept digging into my lower hip bones to "get a knot out". It was bone! No knot! I'm still sore from it. I told her what she was doing was very painful. She continued to do it anyway. Our pedicure started in a room, sitting on a folding chair with dirty towels everywhere. This was our "Reflective" time. Our pedicures were sub par, not at all what I am used to, rubbing of the feet and legs etc. Total time of the pedicure was 25 minutes. Instead of each receiving a 90 minute treatment we received a 60 minute treatment. I talked with the owner who informed me that even though it was only 60 minutes we still received the full treatment. This did not make sense to me. I talked to her for 15 -20 minutes and got no where. I left feeling ripped off and very sad. I paid $150.00 and $150 on my Visa. I felt like I had been held at gun point and robbed. After I arrived home so upset my husband called and spoke with the owner Jaime. She said that she was sorry about the experience, but services had been given and there was nothing she could do. He asked her to explain her ad. She explained that the actual pedicure isn't 60 minutes. Part of that time is the "Reflection time" (see above) and soak time to which she did say it was cut short. While trying to accommodate the 3 of us at the same time, this was necessary. Jaime also mentioned that they do not rub the feet or legs as part of their pedicure. The bottom line is I had agreed to pay $100.00 per person for a 90 minute treatment and ended up paying $100.00 for a 60 minute treatment, with neither of the treatments being of high quality.

This is a great spa. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and I really enjoyed my treatments. Try the sugaring (instead of waxing) with Barbara - she really made me comfortable - and it really did hurt less than traditional waxing. This spa is actually quite large, but it's got a much homier vibe than some of the spas you see at malls. I really recommend that anyone interested in a "staycation" check this place out!
