A lovely place, very good services, but out of step with the area. 3 of us go for services every other month - it used to be mainly here. But, many other lovely day spas are nearby with significantly better rates -- or maybe it's their specials. Even La Costa has better specials. I wish they would woo us back - looking forward to seeing what their holiday specials will be.

My husband and I went for a couples massage and were very pleased. It was relaxing, pampering and the staff was very sweet and acommodating. I had Gloria for my massage and she is very good at finding those achy spots and getting them to melt away. My husband had Anita...he was like jello afterwords. I would definely rcommend this spa to my friends.

I have been going to Bellissima since 2000 for my Birthday, Mothers Day or my Anniversary because my husband knows that if I want to be pampered, this is where he should send me. I always feel like a queen for a day. In between treatments you are waited on, they always make sure you have a drink, are comfortable, and give you time alone to sit and relax in quiet. I do understand the one disgruntled reviewer that said she felt like her facial was a sales pitch. That has happened to me once, out of the last 10 years I have been going. I would suggest that anyone giving a facial wait until checkout to suggest any products used during the facial. Which is my experience every other time. As for the lunches they are very good. Yes, they come from an outside source, but this is NOT a restaurant it is a Spa. I have never been disappointed with any of my treatments. They have all been amazing. I have been to other spas on occasion and have always been happier with Bellissima. I have recommended this Spa to my friends. I have ALWAYS gone away happy.

I spent a lot of time at this spa between 2000-2006 when I lived nearby and it was great. I returned for a spa day package that my husband and kids got me for Mothers Day and was VERY disappointed. The front desk staff was rude on my arrival. The steam room is infested with mold and mildew and the bathroom has disgusting water damage. My masseuse was good, but pink-haired and tattooed. My facial was an uninvited 50 minute SALES PITCH for every conceivable product and, to make matters worse, the facialist had garlic breath! The spa lunch was re-plated take out. After lunch, I waited and waited for my manicure/pedicure and was told "we'll be right with you" 9 times! I finally JUST LEFT! What a total dump. The place is long overdue for a remodel with mis-matched floral print and brass decor. It is my understanding the place has been sold twice recently and is now owned by the manicurist. Other ladies in the locker room were just as shocked as I was. Buy gift certificates at your own risk. I doubt they will be open past 2010. What a waste of money. Very sad.

Slandering and providing phony information without a name or a date is a federl crime. Bellissima has been here over 15 yrs. and will be here for another 15 yrs. with over 25 employees & 11000 sq. ft facility. We are one of the largest day spa in CA. So please take my advice, if you have some grudges agains't this business, do not pose as one of our customers. As owner, I am not manicurist, but have an MBA and vast experiences in various businesses.Bellissima is Accredited from the Day Spa Association. That merit is for our immpecable service.

After reading the other reviews here, I was a bit nervous about scheduling massages for me and my girlfriend that was visiting from out of town. But having heard great things about this spa outside of this sight, I decided to go for it. I'M SO GLAD I DID! We were promptly greeted and offered refreshments. The moment our intake sheets were complete, they took us to the changing room. Our massages were so amazing I did not want to get off the table! We enjoyed the steam room after our massages and just generally had a superb experience. Thank you Bellisma!

This isn't the right place to go if you want to be pampered and relaxed. I was thinking that since I am paying twice as more as other places that I would get a more wonderful experience but it wan't the case at all because the people who work there are so unprofessional.

I went in to get a facial but the receptionist was too busy on her cell phone an wasn't even helpful and then they make you wait because the employee was taking her time with her lunch. Not a relaxing place more stressful.

I highly suggest getting a massage from Gloria. I have had a massage about 4 times a year over the last 10 years and this was the BEST massage I have ever had. They call it their "custom" massage, and that's just what it was. Gloria listened to what I said and she treated everything I mentioned! She is strong and gentle and I wish I lived in the area I would come back to her every time! I had a facial with Kristy and it was marvelous too. Relaxing and effective. Atmosphere is super quiet and relaxing, steam before massage was devine.

The staff treats you so well. I went in to get a facial and it was the most relaxing place I have ever been. It's really a nice warm place with really soft music an I felt so at peace and calm during and afterwards. Everyone should treat themselves to this at least once to see what they have been missing out on.

I found heaven close to home! I received a gift certificate from my husband for a full day of services at this spa. What an amazing experience. I felt like I was in a palace in Italy. I received royal treatment from the staff the moment I stepped in the door. They waited on me hand and foot-literally! The aroma therapy treatment, facial and message were great. My only regret is that my stay was not long enough. I sure hope these folks consider opening a vacation spa. Sign me up for a time share!

I have spent many years with 2 spas and decided to try a new one close to where I live and where my best friend was getting married at. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional staff, and had such terrible service. The whole time I was there I was counting down the hours till my services would be finished. Not something I feel anyone should experience at a spa.
