I've lived in Manhattan for 13 years and have tried lots of spas. Bunya consistently has the best massages. I never have a problem getting an appointment and always love the treatment!

I've been to this spa several times. The level of their staffs vary. Some are greatly skilled and some don't seem to be professionally trained. Service rooms and resting areas are clean. Good steam room but the sauna is often off. It does provide various treatments.

My girlfriend recommended me this place last year spa week, after the first visit I am a regular to this place eversince. The changing room is a bit small but that's fine with me as long as the service is good. Great atmosphere, clean facility, couteous staffs & the thai massage was excellent highly reccommended felt light like walking on heaven! If you're looking for a quality me time this is the place to be!

My daughter sent me to this spa years ago, and I've been a regular ever since. Their hot stone massage is the best! and when I can't afford it, I do a thai massage (with the hot tea bags), which is also nice, they often have that on sale. The environment is soothing, and the facility is clean. Enjoy your visit....

Great location on West Broadway and the entrance is really nice looking with waterfalls. The changing room is really small. I think the services vary depending on who you get. My masage here was fine, noting special but my sister had a terrible experience. My sister's masseuse didn't even leave the room while she got undressed. In fact, she tried to help my sister take her clothes off! She also felt it was not a relaxing massage, that the masseuse was pushing her more than massaging the muscles. For me, I could have used a little more pressure. Hit or miss as in any place really...

Went for a pedicure and manicure. The place was great it had great ambiance and a stern intimidating asian lady at the front desk. I've heard a lot of great things from this spa, but I'm yet to see what the big deal is. Sat to get my pedicure done, pleased with the color and process, the young technician took me to get my toenails dry; she never came back. Noticed that the client sitting next to me had used a wet towel to rest her feet; her technician threw it into the sterilizer. My technician then went to the same sterilizing machine and took the towel out to begin to dry my feet and legs; I immediately stopped her and she looked scared knowing she had been caught. I shrugged it off and requested for her not to dry my legs and feet. Went to pay for my service and was forced to tip although I had intended to give a cash tip to the technician. The asian receptionist didn't have a great attitude but she served her purpose of cashing me out. Would I go back? yes the place looked sanitary enough- my recommendation would be to be really weary of how they treat you..

Altogether awful. Took a client. First they wanted me to pay BEFORE treatment. Then, the place was NOT clean - the treatment rooms do not have walls to the ceiling so I heard a couples massage the whole time (painful). The rooms were FREEZING and for a $300 treatment of body scrub, massage etc, it was not nice to be cold. Speaking of the treatments, they were awful. This was one of the worst spa experiences I ever had and my client felt the same way, Very sad.

I recently went to this spa the first time because I saw them on TV and would like to try their new men's facility. The experience I had was totally amazing. Before my visit to Banyan, I was uncomfortable with the spa experience, picturing myself sipping chamomile tea in tiny robes with cucumbers over their eyelids and cotton balls between their toes. While the appeal of sore muscle relief with a pampering massage was also tempting. As a result, I tried their signature Ashiatsu massage, a strenuous treatment that works by applying pressure to my back using the therapist's feet (the masseuse stays steady by holding on to grip bars installed on the ceiling). Being walked all over has never felt so good in my life. I have totally changed my perspective of spa after my visit to Banyan and I have went back the second time within a week.

During the Memorial Day Weekend, my husband and I took a day trip from Long Island to BanyanCitiSpa for their whole day spa package. I was very impressed with their detail orientated decorations, services and staffs' friendliness. My husband was never a spa goers, but was very happy with the spa's men friendly facility and services. We had most of our treatments in a couple's room, where we got so much privacy and those treatments were totally unbelievable nice and pampering. We will certainly return and highly recommend!!!
