About Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol
Perched amid a nature reserve in the Austrian Alps, 1,300 meters above sea level, the five-star Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol is a grand and spacious setting where visitors enjoy fresh alpine air and picture-postcard views of the Tyrol region. The elegant hotel, which opened in 1985, offers a variety of summer and winter outdoor sports activities, as well as breathtaking vistas. A highlight is its sprawling spa, which won the “World Luxury Award Best Spa Austria” in 2012. It offers a full range of massages, facials, body treatments and baths, including specialty treatments for men, teens and children, using Sisley, Dermalogica, and Vinoble Men products.
The hotel and its environs boast numerous recreational activities, including golf, tennis, swimming and hiking on the 650 miles of trails accessible directly from the property; winter brings skiing at nearby slopes and taking horse-drawn sleigh rides and snowshoeing tours. In addition, Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol’s dining has been awarded with three toques from Gault Millau.

Services
At 5,300 square meters, Interalpen SPA is an expansive, elegant retreat for rejuvenation and respite. A Roman-style marble-floored hallway leads into a large reception area, decorated in cream and gold, and then downstairs to the sauna and relaxation areas. More than half of the 25 treatment rooms sport views of the surrounding mountains, as does the fireside relaxation room. All guests have unlimited access to the indoor-outdoor panoramic pool, an indoor saltwater pool with underwater sound, Jacuzzi pools and a pick of saunas—from the separate women's and men's areas to the cozy Tyrolean sauna village with a Kneipp stream, various baths and aroma-infused grottos. Accents of regional stone and wood can be found throughout the pool area.
Facial and body treatments incorporate far eastern wisdom and western techniques, focusing on all-over health and beauty. Spa therapy techniques include thalassotherapy, special baths, classic, medical, and four-hands massage, physiotherapy, anti-aging procedures and internal medicine consultations.

Rooms & Dining
The Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol's 282 apartments, suites and single rooms are decorated in the style of the region with cool oak wood tones, pine furnishings and natural fabrics and textures. Most rooms have a tiled stove and alpine views from balconies. The largest room is the 206-square-meter Panorama Suite, which has sweeping views, a second bedroom that can be used as a conference room, two bathrooms and a spacious terrace.
Guests can choose among six restaurants, a winter garden, and a spa restaurant. The breakfast area offers buffets and fresh-baked goods from the hotel's own bakery, and the spa’s restaurant serves nutritious à la carte dishes made with natural produce sourced from Tyrolean farmers. The half-board option features a six-course evening menu, including an extensive salad and cheese buffet, served in several different areas and in the winter garden. Every Sunday, a gala dinner is held with musical accompaniment.
