I met balensia through groupon & usually is the only way i visit the spa but i go to balensia all the time now groupon or not!!

Was given spa finder gift certs for my 50th birthday. Made appt online and was called right away to confirm appt. She asked for credit card info, I told her my story and would be paying with spa finder gift certs and asked if that was accepted for the special on massage and facial for that week. She said yes. Was so excited to get treatments. Had facial with Lorena. She never had me fill out any client info or asked about allergies, etc. Basically through the entire treatment she never once spoke to me. It was rushed...lots of noise with water and heels in background, but the clincher was when she just walked out of room for 10-15min without a word. I lay there stressed wondering what was burning on my skin and when she was coming back. Massage was better. Never got a facial massage with the facial?? Went to pay and Lorena refused the spa finder gift certs. I explained I had asked and it was confirmed by her staff I could use it for the services I booked when I made the appt. She said would ask the owner. I knew she was one of them. She came back and said her employee should have known better and that it was not their fault, I could use those certs somewhere else??? Ouch! I was made to pay $120, so unethical!

I got a deep tissue massage and was very happy with it. The location is easy to find, metered parking, but the price is reasonable. The atmosphere was very relaxed and cute. Staff was very very friendly and helpful.

Decided to try this spa since they're having these great specials. Had a facial and it was fine, nothing that extraordinary. I'm use to having a little more a massage on my neck and shoulders when getting facials. The place is very cute, nice & clean, and the staff are very nice. Plenty of stret parking, but you have to pay either at a meter or a lot across the street. I will most likely go back and try a massage.

I went during spa finder week for a microdermabrasion facial and massage and I walked out of there feeling so good. My face felt really smooth and my body so relaxed. I stopped by my sister's in laws work down the street right after and told them about it and they made appointments for the next day. I really love this place and the people are so friendly.

I took advantage of the spaweek deal and checked out this spa. I was impressed when I walked in, the spa feel I felt right away. The nice, fresh scent of a lemon. Lorena, the co-owner did my facial. She was very experienced on skincare, so I felt comfortable right away. Although she didn't remove my black head when I specifically told her I have one. I didn't see it until I got home. I felt she got cheap on putting products on me. I've been to different spas before where they would cleanse, exfoliate, steam and put all the products after...but she didn't. I didn't think she put any sunblock, serum or even moisturizer on my face. It felt the session was short. Maybe because it was discounted?Although I was very satisfied on my massage which was done by Dora. She was a very pleasant lady and knew exactly what she was doing. I would give this place another chance if there is another deal.

I was given a gift card by a client and gave Balensi a try. For being a smaller scale spa, the staff and its services were wonderful. My facial was great, and the extractions were painless!!! Would definetly go back again.

I just had a massage today and it was wonderful. I decided to go to this place due to the reviews and found it was a great decision. The atmosphere was nice and calm. From the minute I entered i was greeted by a charming receptionist, was offered water and shortly after was taken to the massage room. The masseuse was very nice. She talked enough to make me feel comfortable in a new location, yet not too much that it interrupted the ability to relax. I would definitely recommend this location. It is reasonably priced for the services you receive and the staff is great. I even received a little good bye/thank you gift! I will definitely be returning to see Felicia again

I have been visiting the spa for about 5 years now off and on. My husband knows I love the quaint, comfortable feel of the spa. The owner and staff are so wonderful and friendly. I have had messages and facials and loved every moment of it. The chocolate expierence is OMG!!. Thank you all for providing this service in Chula Vista. I will be back.Tracey Jones

I chose Balensi spa for my massage based on comments from previous clients and I was not dissapointed. I was treated to such a wonderful, relaxing deep tissue massage, I did not want to leave when it was over. The service was wondeful and the ambiance is relaxing and inviting from the moment you walk in. The cookies and treats are just cherry on the top. I would highly recommend this little jewel hidden in the middle of downtown Chula Vista. I am just sorry I didn't know about it sooner. I invite you to give Balensi Spa a try. I promise you will not be dissapointed...from a very satisfied customer.
