This past Saturday, after my facial treatment, several, (6-7) pimple-like raw spots, some were bleeding appeared on my face. These spots were painful & got worse in the evening. The pain became excruciating the next day which being Sunday, I couldn't reach the Spa to inform them. I stopped by the Spa on Monday Morning trying to speak with the manager who's not available. I left her a few pictures of my face. Later, the manager called me but she was ABSOLUTELY UNSYMPATHETIC on the phone. She kept saying that it's normal. So, I went back to the Spa and showed her my face. Again, she insisted that this was NORMAL. I told her that I've had many facial treatments in the past & that COULD NOT be normal when these spots were painful and raw.
I find this Spa management unresponsive to consumer complaint & FAILED TO INVESTIGATE when there was adverse/untoward outcome resulted from their service.
Once informed of your experience, the Director investigated the matter by speaking with the aesthetician who performed the facial. We are a medical skin care center that performs thorough facials, not a cosmetic, superficial facial spa. We are owned by a large medical pracice. That being said, the facial you receive is NORMAL for medical facials. When necessary, we do extractions, and at times, may be painful to the individual. Many "spas" barely touch or even perform extractions during facials, resulting in unextracted, clogged, but painless facials. We were truly sorry for your anxiety and discomfort , and furthermore, we DID compensate you in the amount of $150 for your displeasure. You may find the services of a cosmetic spa more to your liking. All the Best.
