International Orange (IO) is a San Francisco spa and yoga studio offering facials, massage, yoga, acupuncture and organic results-oriented skin and body care. All treatments are customized to encourage the body’s natural healing capabilities. Named San Francisco’s best-loved spa by Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair and InStyle, IO combines crisp, modern design with natural elements, such as Brazilian-cherry floors, white curtains and a granite fireplace. The 4,000-square-foot spa features a relaxation lounge with organic refreshments, an outdoor deck and bamboo garden, an intimate yoga studio and a retail boutique offering skincare and wellness products. Additional services include peels, masks, Thai massage, hot stones, reflexology, tinting and waxing. A complimentary yoga class is offered with any two spa treatments.

I'd seen this spa in passing-the name caught my eye. Got a facial on a day off. Good service, nice facilities. Wish they offered even more services on their menu, but for what it was, and the location, I left happy and will probably be back!

The facilities are great. (Though, when I visited the sauna was broken despite being told earlier that day that is was working and I should arrive 30mins early to take advantage of it.)
The service was great. Really enjoyed the massage.
My only complaint was the broken sauna and the fact the the waiting room was freezing.
I'll be back.

I got the 90minute IO massage because there was a special price of $125. The staff are very friendly and professional. The space is very clean, relaxing, quiet. There is a small locker room (tiny square lockers), and they provide you with a robe, slippers, shower amenities. There is a small steam room and showers in the locker room. There was good dried fruit, chocolate & tea provided. The massage was nice but I definitely would not pay full price for it. I am a massage/relax-in-sauna or pool type spa-goer, so if you're like me, there is not much else to do there except receive your treatment, and sit outside on the deck. I might return, but there are other places I like better. BTW, 2hour parking on the street which would have been a rush for me, so I parked in the lot which was EXPENSIVE!!

I went to International Orange to receive a facial and boy did I receive one! I had the best facial experience ever. It was above and beyond what I expected and I recommend anyone who wants a pampered, relaxing time to go too. They are located in a nice neighborhood of San Francisco. The workers are very friendly and the atmosphere within the spa was great. It was a very relaxing and inviting place. I am definitely going back and am recommending all of my friends as well! The International Orange is truly a fantastic find!! :)

I have been to MANY spas (including day spas, resort spas, health spas, etc.) and have yet to find something quite like International Orange.
IO offers expert massage and organic skincare treatments in their Zen-like perch above the hustle & bustle of Fillmore Street in San Francisco.
No matter what therapist you choose, you are in for a real treat! Rarely have I visited a spa and come out feeling as relaxed, centered, and revived as I do after having spent an afternoon at IO.
I would highly recommend this day spa to anyone looking for a place to chill when you're in the city. They also have an amazing yoga studio and offer classes and private yoga sessions throughout the day.
