About SIA Spa
In addition to a wide range of physician-supervised aesthetic services, SIA Spa features wellness treatments inspired by the techniques of Ayurveda, an ancient system of South Indian medicine. Guests can supplement treatments by enrolling in a variety of fitness and meditation classes. The spa staff is composed of estheticians and highly trained spa therapists who are overseen by a board-certified plastic surgeon.
Surgeon-administered filler injections help to reduce signs of aging in a matter of minutes. Other options for skin rejuvenation include microdermabrasion and cell-renewal chemical peels. SIA Spa's estheticians use the Lumenis One Intense Pulsed Light System (known for its speed and effectiveness) for photo-facials, as well as laser hair removal and laser vein therapy. Guests may also consult with a plastic surgeon regarding more extensive cosmetic procedures.
The spa's Ayurvedic therapies integrate massage, herbal therapy, yoga, and meditation. All licensed massage therapists studied Ayurvedic techniques with master practitioners and teachers in southern India. Abhyanga, Ayurvedic full-body massage, incorporates customized herb-infused oil and detoxifying massage carefully tailored to rebalance and revitalize the body's energy flow. Specific therapies are available to address common chronic complaints such as arthritis, cellulite, and fatigue. SIA Spa offers a series of packages, including a Rejuvenation Journey, a Pre-Natal package, the Man's Indulgence package, and the SIA Signature Service - which involves a hand and foot massage, herbal oil application, and a fifty-minute four-handed ayurvedic body massage.
Fitness and wellness coaches work one-on-one with guests to develop a regimen for better health and lifestyle change. Yoga, Pilates, and meditation classes are taught on premises by fully accredited professionals.
A comprehensive spa boutique carries a number of high-quality skincare and spa products, many of which are exclusive to SIA Spa.

I have been a long time patron of Sia Spa, but for the last 7 or 8 months I had not gone. I returned this week and my experience was as wonderful as I remembered. My body was so in need of their expert care and to finish with a visit to the steam room was heaven. I will not get so tied up with life's issues that I neglect myself again.

Read this please..Sia is so close yet so far away!
-
3.00 out of 5 stars
I have gone to this spa many times and even purchased gift certificates for friends over the past two years or so (?)...all due to one massage therapist...I have tried the others but she was the best! Read on, please!!!
Sia is a wonderful experience once you get past the front desk. The staff who books appointments and who supposedly help to make stressed people less stressed are not good at what they should be doing. Booking an appointment is easy...dealing with them when there are errors is not so easy and can ruin your experience entirely. They are cranky. They
do not understand that the customer (of course you are stressed, isn't that why you are getting massage and other services??) is "right"...you are leaning on them to help you feel some kind of relief and they simply add to your problems if their calendar doesn't match yours.
Furthermore, the people who can afford their services are
professionals...yes, we deal with the public every day and we know how to speak respectfully.... Time has come for Sia staff to rise to a new level...please!
That said, I heartily suggest the massage therapist Ailin (spelling?).
She is Asian and knows, oh so well, the fine art of massage. She is incredible and very positive, so polite and very caring. Her technique is absolutely superb. I have had massages all over the world and her massage is one of the best. I highly recommend her.
Facials are okay.... I listened to too much chatter...I am not against this...I just wanted to relax and not think.... I did not want to hear stories about other clients. I wanted my skin
to be hydrated, cleaned and massaged for circulation...I did not want to hear about products or anything at all. I guess, yes, it was all about me...after all...I'm paying for this so it should be about me shouldn't it?
I would avoid the pedicures and manicures as they are dull. The environment is exceptionally clean, however. The cost is very high for such dull, non-enthusiastic service that...although, again, sometimes the extra cost is worthwhile if the place is hygienic. There are other places in Cincinnati area that are
far better than this place for pedicures and nail services.
Sia is going to have to stand out and shine...hopefully adding interesting massage or nail colors, oils, callous removal that is legal...whatever!!...in order to move into a real spa type of atmosphere...so close...yes but so far away from...they have the promises but they don't quite deliver....
The very BEST EXPERIENCE one can have, if you are stressed........,is to go and have a massage...the 90 minute kind.........
Then take in the steam room, yes, do go in and hang out (try to find anyone to explain how to use the timer...or it will get unbearably hot...for those who love this, you'll be in the clouds!...) and soak this steam up after an incredible massage with Ailin..............then, take a shower (nice clean facilities with nice soaps...the shower is easy and instant access from the heat of the steam room...........
and this is the reason why I go back to Sia as I can afford to...... following the Ailin massage, and the steam bath and you will leave feeling absolutely free from stress...oooh, so fine! ... so stress free that you might need someone to drive you home....
.............................but would that front desk call a cab without
fussing around?????? I've no confidence there with them about anything.....a sorry sight.
COST: The money for the massage, steam room, a shower is so very much worthwhile....it is 5-star plus...yes I have gone to some of the finest spas and in this particular area, this SIA spa ranks....the massage service/steam room/shower routine I have described is one that I have taken multiple times and it is always exactly the same each time...this is rare...typically services vary in quality...this is always superb.
However, this will only happen if you don't have to deal with
a front desk that has no clue how to handle the general public. It is a sad affair and they must turn off so many people...however, if you are patient enough to go beyond this, the rewards from the massage and steam room is rather like visiting heaven.
Peace!

Best Spa in Cincinnati!

5.00 out of 5 stars
Sia Spa staff was very knowledge about their servies and VERY customer focused. As opposed to other spas in Cincinnati, this one definitely puts their customer's needs first. I booked my spa package, along with 3 other services for out of town friends. We had an amazing time! We all commented to each other that we were especially pleased with the treatment services, facility, and overall atomosphere. Very high quaility spa, but a comfortable feel.

Extremely Relaxing

I found SIA spa to be one of the most relaxing places in our city! I have been to most of the spas in the area and the massage team is definitely the best.
The atmosphere of the spa is soothing to the soul. After a stressful day, my mood was changed by opening the front door and moving into an oasis. Whoever decorated this facility did a great job creating a relaxing and calming environment.

A wonderful & relaxing oasis!

My husband and I love this Day Spa.
From the moment you walk in, it is very relaxing...a complete getaway! As soon as you arrive for your treatment, you are given a robe & slippers and taken to the changing rooms. There are showers, steam room (or maybe a sauna), and lockers for your belongings. Hair dryers and the small toiletries (shampoos, etc.) are also provided. Once you are changed and ready for your treatment, there is a wonderful relaxing waiting room with soft music and chaise loungers.
The staff and therapists are very accomodating and helpful. All you need to do is ask, and they will help as best they can.
We do not live in Cincinnati, but have been to this spa three times now. It is truly wonderful. I would advise that you arrive 30 minutes early so that you can shower if you wish and then relax in a chaise lounger!
Enjoy!

Massage fine, but desk service could improve
-
3.00 out of 5 stars
I really enjoyed the passage to India package. The massage therapist was very thoughtful and skilled. However, I was not impressed with the general service at the Sia Spa. I had scheduled a pedicure after my massage. The staff had no record of my reservation. I had just made the reservation on Friday and my appointment was the following Monday. This seems odd since the staff I spoke with when I made the reservation discussed how she would give me 15 minutes to shower and change after the massage and before the pedicure. The staff offered to schedule a pedicure on another day when they could not locate my reservation, but I declined since I have no plans of returning.
When I had questions, the staff was not to be found. The staff was general inaccessible during my visit. After finding no staff manning the back area, I went out to the front desk and found the staff chatting in a back room behind the desk and had to wait several minutes before they came out. I don't think this spa is the best place for a spa newcomer, but could be fine for a seasoned spa connoisseur.

This was my first visit to a spa, and let me tell you...it was totally relaxing from entry point on. I loved the design, the atmosphere was wonderful.
Once I walked in, I left the rest of the world behind.
I plan on going back again, and again...
