Perfect Spa

with all the panache about membership etc. VERY mediocre level of pedicure and manicure, very cold premises where the nail services are done, they keep the space heater off to save electricity, while they tell you that the nail drier is working in fact it only blow ice cold air - in cold premises! they dont have the pedicure chairs and use something like wash basins they keep pushing around - VERY dangerous. and when you are done you ant even find anyone to check you out! disaster.

Very pushy on sale.

I've been to a fair amount of spas and this was the worse one. Just... not my cup of tea, didn't enjoy the experience overall.

I booked the appointment over the phone and told them I had a $50 Spa Finder gift card. They told me I had to redeem the card 24 hours before my appointment, so I called the day before and gave them the card info. They said everything was all set. I went in for the appointment and upon check out they said the card couldn't be used. I argued and even presented them with the card to try again and they said they just wouldn't do it. I was charge $50 more than I anitcipated and even went back and called a couple times to try to rectify it but with no luck. The people here are very rude.

I had a great massage yet a horrible experience with owner who refused to accept my coupon. I was treated like a thief and a crook. I will never go back. There are plenty of other great spas in NYC, this isn't one of them.

If spafinder could create 'negative' stars, it would be for this establishment! I came in recently for a massage - when I arrived, I was immediately treated like garbage. IRONIC because if I had known that this dump was the 'SPA' I purchased from, I never would have come.. The owner was a nightmare - her co-workers were embarassed for her behavior. She started yelling at me when I asked her several questions. She then called me a liar about purchasing the gift certificate and booking my appointment 'the wrong way' (even though she had my appointment on the computer list). I then asked 'How did I book an appointment the wrong way? It is on your schedule." She followed up to that question only by screaming 'You are bad customer'. I mentioned to her that screaming at the customers isn't really the most profitable way to run a business. Needless to say, even though the massage was DECENT, (only decent because the room was disgustingly hot and smelled funny) I had the least relaxing massage of my life. I was so angry and upset that anyone could treat I couldn't even relax! The only redeeming part was the receptionist apologizing for the owner's behavior - she told me that this is pretty common. PLEASE spare yourself!!!!

I come here for a massage every few months; I work at a desk and my posture strains my neck and back muscles all day. I have always had a great experience and leave feeling like I'm floating home. It would be nice if the bed was heated, but other than that, it really is a perfect massage!

With so many choices of salons and spas, it's refreshing when you discover a "hidden gem" in the midst of them all. "Perfect Spa" on the Upper Side delivered "excellent" service in an amazing, friendly, relaxing and super clean environment. I left feeling refreshed.....pampered and wanting to return soon. It was a top notch experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed coming to this spa. The staff and the services are not only professional but the treatment made me feel like coming into midtown manhattan was a trip out of the city like no other. The friendly atmosphere and the recommendations given here with the most sincerity is very assuring. I feel at peace. I recommend this for regulars or even if you're just stopping into city for a great deep tissue massage or a spa manicure or pedicure ..facials are incredible and healthy and fair for the price i would imagine it's a little pamper treatment you can give yourself. Highly recommend joining their wellness plans..it has helped me save and enjoy a lot of their best services

I came here with my boyfriend to get a couples massage as well as lime pedicures and it was amazing! i would absolutely recommend this place to everyone!

I had the LaStone Massage with Louis and I cannot go anywhere else. This massage was so incredicble, I booked my next appointment immediately after my massage. The staff is SUPER friendly, the spa is peaceful and relaxing and is immaculate. I cannot wait until next month. You must try the LaStone Massage. Tara F

unsanitary, unprofessional, towels were dirty and wet, hated the entire experience.. very rude receptionist/ owner talks down to everyone and changes prices.

So-called "perfect spa", not so perfect. Very rude, demanding workers, overwhelming menu with ridiculous prices for non-results oriented facials. they use the same products for a $200 facial that they do on a $50 one. At end of facial they throw products in your face and push their hard sale.

it was amazing birthday gift from my friend i've ever got! i've been to many other spas to relief stress and tiredness, and this spa services were greater than anything else! i got body scrub, massage, facial, and pedicure and manicure, and they called this Deluxe Spa Package. technicians were very expierienced, and professional! for the last! the place was really luxury and clean! i recommend you to try their luxury packages! you will love it! i mean it~ check out their website! xP
