Hair & Body Essentials Day Spa

First time highlights done at salon. Had gotten formula from my previous salon. After a great consultation with Kathy that does my cut and now color and Tracey who knows Aveda color, I walked out very pleased. They generally cared about what I expected!! They did not tell me what I would want they listened!! Thank you, ladies. Job well done from a very picky woman!!Great haircut as usual Kathy.

I have been going to Hair and Body Essentials for years and no matter what service I have I always look forward to coming here. Whether it has been a massage, facial or hair services, the technicians are friendly, knowledgable and very professional. It truly is a wonderful little sanctuary where I can forget the stresses of life. I never have to think about who is doing the service or feel like I have to ask for a particular person as all the staff isvery well trained and there never has been a situation in which I felt under served because a person was newer.

I have been coming to this spa for years I have had almost all of the services they offer done & yet to have a bad experience! I see Kristin in the hair dept, Larissa for pedicures, and have had most of the operators in the spa side who have all done a great job!!

I have been getting my hair done with Cheri for many years now and she is fantastic. Excellent stylist. I have also had facials and massages from Wendy and Katlyn and they are also wonderful.

I had the BEST FACIAL I have ever had at this spa by and esthetician named Sara...I had heard about her from a friend and am so glad I saw her! Also the spa is SO CLEAN!!! I was so impressed and will be making another appointment as soon as possible!

I bought one of those daily deals coupon to use on a massage and was quite pleased with my service and booked another appt. when checking out. No problem at all using the coupon.

I just got my first Brazilian with Katerina after reading about how a couple of other customers had a great experience with her on a blog. She was wonderful! I hadn't been waxed in years because my first experience was not good at all at a different spa. She was very specific with her instructions in terms of where to hold my skin taught or twist my legs and she was very patient in terms of me being a little jumpy for the most painful parts. She was also great about having a conversation with me so that it wasn't as awkward just being waxed haha. It also gave me something to focus on rather than the pain and the process. I will definitely return to this spa for waxing. Thanks Katerina!

I had one of the best massages, however their business practices leave so much to be desired. I bought a spa gift finder card at full price when I was given $50 in cash as a gift to be sure I used it for a massage. They at Hair & Body Essentials referred to it as a "DISCOUNT" card, and would not allow me to use it as partial payment for a group of 6 massages... so basically they threw out an extra 295.00 due to their "reprehensible Business Practices"... I feel bad for the good employees that work there... Julia

I was referred to this spa by a friend. Not impressed from the start. I called three times to be put on hold and hung up on. I should of stopped there. The girl wanted a credit card number right now to book or I couldnt keep my appt. Insisted it would be to late to call back with it. Seriously? I understand asking for a deposit, but hire someone articulate enough to convey the message. Services with Beth were medoicure. This place seems a bit "wannabe" a spa. A bit locoyoco. Gotta go to Albany to get real service. Wouldnt waste your time or money.

I recently went to Hair & Body Essentials Day Spa and recieved the best facial of my life!!! I have had many facials but this one was heavenly! I URGE you to come and relax @ this spa. My technicians name was Caitlin....it was WONDERFUL!!!!

I had a massage, mani, pedi, and brown way and all were fantastic! i LOVE that they use new 'hardware' for each client; fresh files and buffers. Everything was very clean and pleasant environment.

The pedicures with Stephanie are the best in the area. My paint job always lasts weeks longer than anywhere else. She pays attention to the smallest details. Also it is very reasonably priced. You get a much better job done by her than you will ever get for almost double at the fancier place in town.

It is easy to get an appointment at short notice at this spa. You don't need to book a week out. I had a facial and a massage and it was a reasonably prices package. The massage was very good and my skin felt great after the facial. The facility is an average set up for a local spa. There is no gathering or resting area for between treatments.

I recently had difficulty using a $50.00 'Spa Finder' gift card given to me for Mother's Day. When cashing out at Hair & Body Essentials in Clifton Park, NY, I was told I had to use the entire amount ($50), or the card would not be accepted. I couldn't believe my ears. No where on the spa Finder's Gift Card does it say that! The receptionist said she was following ''store policy'. She said I was welcome to buy products to bring the amount up to $50.00.. I was in for a manicure appointment! After pleading my case and getting no results, I asked for the manager. A young blond gal presented herself (I think her name was Laurie) as the manager and began addressing me as 'sweetie'. I was spoken to in a very condescending manner. I will not frequent Hair & Body Essentials again. :( ~ Priscilla

I have been coming here for years. Wendy is great for waxing and facials. Massages and pedicures great as well. Beautful, relaxing enviroment and good products for sale if you are interested. Professional and friendly, not pushy.

I have been a client here for many years and I've never been disappointed. Whenever my family asks what I want for Christmas or my birthday I always ask for a gift certificate to Hair and Body, I love it here and can't get enough!! 5 Stars!!

I really enjoyed my experience at Hair and Body Essentials. I had both a massage and facial which were very relaxing. The staff did an amazing job making sure I was relaxed and comfortable.The atmosphere in the spa is warm and welcoming and the rooms are stylish and clean. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my services!
