Jack Arra's Salon and Spa

I had a Spa Finder gift card for 50$ so I thought I'd treat myself to a pedicure. I am in the service industry so I am on my feet 12 hours some days. I really look forward to a pedicure and have had many done over the years.I was very disappointed with my 53$ + Tax pedicure.The room and chair was nice enough. Relaxing atmosphere so I thought I was in for a real treat. Not so much. I have to say I have never had a pedicure where they don't use any cuticle or callus softener. All the close to $60 service entailed was soaking my feet in water and cleaning up the cuticles and a sub-par foot filing (with a reusable foot file), then a scrub and alright foot massage. The polish job was fine but I can do that myself for free.Needless to say I wasn't impressed. So if you have money to blow and you don't want much for your money then go for it.

5 of us girls spent the afternoon at the Jack Arras spa celebrating my grandmother's 90th birthday. All of our appointments went perfectly as scheduled. The treatments were exactly as we had expected. The facials and massages we definetly favorites. We will come back again to use the facilities when we are in town for a visit.

Upon arriving at the spa/salon, I was greeted very warmly and personally by one of the owners who was helpful in taking my umbrella from me as it was a very rainy day. I was introduced to the young lady who going to give me my massage. She was very pleasant, caring and knowledgable. Made me feel comfortable, offered me a flavored glass of water and asked me to choose from a variety of oils one I liked best for my massage. While having a warm foot bath, I filled out an informational form fo benefit me and let the attendant get to know me. I found my surroundings very clean, cheerful and a relaxed atmosphere. After changing into a comfy robe and slippers and storing my belongings in a locked locker, I began my wonderful experience. The time went by quickly and I felt great. A cup of herbal tea awaited me as I stepped out of the dressing room. Perfect on a rainy day.I ended my day by having my hair cut and styled by a very pleasant young lady. Again very professional, clean surroundings, friendly attmosphere.Prior to this visit, I had a pleasant make-up experience by the same stylist who did my hair. Job well done.Would I go back? Most definitely.
