Destination Manhattan Spa Salon is a two-story 6,000-square-foot spa and salon with hardwood floors and interiors highlighted by natural light. White walls are accented by the spa's signature blue hue and there are six treatment rooms including a steam room and a couple's massage room with a rain shower and a hydrotherapy tub. Before beginning treatments clients are offered water, coffee, and a pastry, given a robe and slippers, and invited to enjoy a session in the spa's steam room. Customized services include massage, facial treatments, Madame et Monsieur Electro Body Sculpting, a non-physical workout to reduce fat, and laser skin treatments such as laser hair removal and photofacials. The spa hosts a charity art and wine event every quarter and is involved in a variety of local charity events.Location

This spa should remove the title spa from there name! I was treated to a birthday spa certificate and booked a facial and massage for my birthday. They apparently were so busy they did not have any robes to offer me, they told me my facial would be first due to a mix up in scheduling and promptly put me in 104 degree steam shower for 20mins & gave me a thin spa wrap and a hand towel to dry off! They whisked me into a freezing cold hall & treatment room with no robe for my facial soaking wet! I come to find out that the lack of towels was not due to being so busy they had a flood in one of the treatment rooms and used all the towels to soak up the water, the room smelled of water, mold & a strange odor on the sheets. My massage was ok but I was there to relax and I felt like I was put through a rough 55 minutes of torture not relaxation! Her touch was rough & awful. When I complained to the desk about the lack of towels or a robe, she did give me a 20% off my facial treatment, she did not know how to handle my spa finder gift certificate, What a rip off !This place needs to understand what a spa experience means. Lots of training needed to bring this place up to a decent Spa standard. Sheryl S. Las Vegas NV.

Jet lagged, tired from sitting in a car for hours, this was the perfect excursion to relax, with a facial and a massage. The soreness and aches melted away and I was able to enjoy my trip therein.

I did a detox trip to this spa. With working out nonstop I have needed it. I did a steam room with aromatherapy, a detox jet tub soak with oils and it was just amazing. Very intense but it worked wonders on my skin. I finished with a rain shower along with a scrub. The girls were great and very nice and the place is very relaxing. Loved it.

I have waited a week to write this, trying to calm down from the most HORRIBLE spa experience I have ever had. I chose this spa based on published reviews but my experience was nowhere close to what I read.
The first problem was that the receptionist made a mistake with the appointment times, even though I called to confirm. When the guy finally did arrive, it took him nearly 15 more minutes to "get set up" causing us to wait a total of 45 minutes.
I have no idea what the massage therapist's name is because he never introduced himself. In fact he barely spoke at all!
NO ONE asked any questions about massage requests or previous injuries etc. Most other spas have a form for you to provide this kind of information. I do have skin pressure issues, but he did not seem to care, even when I told him to "lighten up". He rubbed my feet so hard they were bruised the next day.
On a positive note, the spa was clean. Perhaps their other services are better, but I will not take the chance to find out.

Just went there for my first time and it was amazing! I got a hour massage and a refresher facial. I felt so relaxed and was amazed how clean and pretty the spa was. I asked the front desk about hair sylist and they referred me to one to get a cut. They did a great job and made an appointment to come back and get highlights. Also noticed they had a Academy. I got a tour right away and sat down with the owner and she gave me great information about the school!

I've been to Destination Manhattan for both waxing and massage, and both times were fantastic. My esthetician was very efficient and gave me a nearly pain-free wax (most impressive!), and my masseuse had magic hands!

I had such a wonderful experience at Destination Manhattan, my experience started with the great staff, they were so helpful when I was booking my appointment and it continuted when I got there, and it didn't stop and until I left. My service was amazing, I recieved a massage and pedicure and it was the best service I have ever recieved. I would recommend everyone to Destination Manhattan and there other Locations around town!!!

Destination Spa has a relaxing atmosphere and wonderful staff. The masseuse went the extra mile in giving me the best deep tissue massage I've ever had. Everything was calm, beautiful and, again, very relaxing.
