About Shangri-La Day Spa
Shangri-La Day Spa believes in "touch with intent" meaning that the spa intends to heal what they touch. The warm brown and sage green color scheme is complemented by a Victorian architectural aesthetic, orchids, and stargazer lilies. Before and after treatments clients can relax in the quiet room, and the facility houses 12 treatment rooms, changing rooms, lockers, and showers. Services the spa offers include massage therapy, body treatments, facial treatments, hand and foot treatments, makeup, and waxing. Shangri-La's signature manicure incorporates a hand massage, reflexology, and a hot stone treatment, and the signature pedicure features reflexology, and a hot stone treatment. The spa now offers medical (therapeutic) massage that is covered by most health insurance plans, and often offers two-for-one specials on services.

Having tried many upscale spas in big cities, I was pleasantly surprised to experience Shangri-La in Stuart Fl. They exceeded all my expectations. I had a massage (had Sonia as my therapist) and a facial (had Veronica). Fabulous job! A must try!

My daughters and I were on vacation and wanted to visit a spa for the day. We finally chose the ShangriLa because of the kindness of a woman named Michelle, who was able to get us all in on short notice. We have all been to many Spa's throughout United States and Europe, and I can tell you without a doubt, we had the most memorable time at the ShangriLa. One technician really shined--her name was also Michelle. This wonderful woman came in on her day off to see my two daughters who both suffer from acne. She was so thorough & knowledgeable & explained what was going on with their skin and why. She went the EXTRA10 MILES, when she went on-line and found my two girls (who live in C.A & N.Y) Estheticians in their area, who could continue the treatments she started. She actually called and "interviewed" over 5 different Estheticians for each girl! After finding a therapist for each of my girls, in their price range and location, she booked their appointments for them..and printed out a mapquest map for them to get there!! When we got home, we found a handwritten note of thanks from Michelle, also giving us the # of the spa and letting us know that we can call her anytime. She was a true professional !!

I TOOK MY MOM AND VISITED SHANGRI-LA FOR A FACIAL AND MASSAGE - WE SPENT THE DAY THERE... IT WAS SERENE, SOOTHING AND BEAUTIFUL - FROM START TO FINISH. WOULD DEFINITELY GO BACK.

The place is absolute heaven - Shangri La is well named!. But the real surprise was that if I have back or neck pain my doctor can write a prescription for massage and they accept my insurance for the therapies! I have only had to pay my $10 copay for the weekly massages! Kudos Shangri-La -
