Dtox Day Spa features contemporary design that blends Asian minimalism with a streamlined, industrial aesthetic. The 7,000-square-foot spa facility has seven treatment rooms in addition to steam and sauna facilities, a yoga studio, meeting rooms, couples' suite, and a bridal party studio. Before enjoying treatments, guests can linger over organic tea or a snack in an atrium with a 15-foot water feature and a high open-beam ceiling. And I highly recommend a facial. It's like a full body massage...neck & shoulder rub, arm massage, plus an amazing facial! I have visited Dtox many times over the years, mostly thru the help of gift certificates, and it is always a wonderful experience. You can go hours beforehand to enjoy their steam room, sauna, and relaxation room before your service. Great way to unwind and disconnect. Two big thumbs up!

This spa is quite charming and overall very nice. I've been here several times, and I've had one masseuse who wasn't that great, but everyone else has been excellent. The facial estheticians, in particular, are very knowledgeable. Other than the one below average masseuse, my only other complaint is that noise can float into some of the treatment rooms due to the loft-style of the place with the walls not reaching the ceiling. This can be a little distracting at times. But overall, it's a very nice spa.

The atmosphere in this spa was so serene and peaceful that i could have easily fallen asleep in the waiting/lounge area. The services were done with professionalism and expertise and i highly recommend this spa for a quick getaway during the day. I can't wait to return for more services!

Located on bustling Los Feliz Boulevard, Atwater Village's dtox Day Spa somehow still manages to be an amazingly serene escape. Their small and simple--yet professional--setup is enough to make newcomers comfortable, while not alienating the seasoned spa goer.
Both of my visits (one for a men's facial and one for a swedish massage) were quite relaxing and I plan on coming back for more. Fruit/veggie water, hot tea, and even brownie bites provide light snacks for when you're using the facilities before or after your treatment. If ever you were looking for a calm place to unwind with a massage and a good book, you've found it.
