The Oasis Spa, a building inspired by the white-washed architecture of the Alhambra Palace in Spain, with several outdoor patio, relaxation areas and reflecting pools, is located at the top of 79 steps, offering a stunning view of the sea from arched areas. With 33 treatment rooms, a gym, a sauna, and a relaxation temple, the Oasis lives up to its name, offering rejuvenating and relaxing treatment of every kind, including rejuvenating facials, hydrotherapy treatments, reflexology, body scrubs, and massage ranging from Swedish to pre-natal to the educational Honeymoon Massage.

The popular Exotic Lime and Ginger Salt Glow cleanses and sooths dry and sun-damaged skin, and the Deluxe Coconut & Spice Combo for back, neck, head and scalp, uses the essence of the island to soothe stressed muscles and calm the mind.

I went to Lesport many years ago to get away and relax. And relax is what I did. I enjoyed myself so much, everytime I get stressed out I wish I was back there. I was just telling someone at work the other day about my stay there and how great it was. The room was very nice, and I really enjoyed laying out on the beautiful beach and not having to get up to get a drink. All you had to do was put a flag in the sand and someone would come take your order. The spa treatments were great, the staff was very accomodating, an all around great trip.

Have just returned from The BodyHoliday with a small group of ladies (clients), and once again, we were not disappointed. The physical plant has been upgraded since last year and continues to be for the next year until every room is fresh and new. Ambiance, dining, staff, services, instructions and choices continue to be brilliant! The friendly staff is something very special.

For my 60th birthday, I decided that I would do something I’d never done before, travel solo. I was excited and scared about leaving the country to vacation on an island where I knew no one. Since I had been to the resort before, I was familiar with the set-up. What was new was the way in which the staff interacted with the guests. When I arrived, I was met at the entrance gazebo and handed a cool cloth and a cold drink; it was a great start. I checked in and went to get my treatment schedule; guests receive at least one spa treatment as part of the room package. I went back to the room and unpacked; it was after lunch so my next meal was dinner. I dressed for dinner and went down to the piano bar around 7:00 pm. I ordered a cocktail, feeling a little alone and out of place. Soon a lovely woman in her forties, Dotty, arrived and sat next to me and we started a conversation. We were joined by several other singles. A young man who worked for the resort explained his role as our ‘bodyguard’. Essentially, the bodyguard helps facilitate conversation at dinner for singles who wish to dine at the singles’ table. It was comfortable and fun and the friendships struck on that first night were strengthened during the week. I had a blast. I would recommend this as a first resort for anyone wishing to step out and travel as a single. You feel protected, pampered and very at ease. The staff are incredible.

On my last visit to Body Holiday I rested on the beach, sampled the spa, enjoyed the food and in general wished I could have stayed much longer. I have been to many spas and this one is somewhat unusual because it is such a good value. It isn't the most luxurious spa in the world but the program is solid and it isn't easy to find a destination spa on the beach where classes, meals and even some spa treatments are included in the price. I would rather stay here for a week than half that amount of time at a fancier spa.

I was disappointed with the treatments performed at the Oasis Spa. Some therapists have only received 7 weeks total training and their lack of knowledge really showed. My facial used the wrong products for my skin type and the therapist was unable to perform a simple skin analysis. The treatments were constantly late and the time cut down and often there was no therapist available to perform the treatment. The Managers did not seam to care that there is such a big staff problem and it ruined my experience. The staff were unhappy and it showed in their attitude. Elemis products were not always used in treatments which is false advertising. I would not return. I have experienced many spa's worldwide at this was the worst experience.

I had a fabulous time here in the summer of 2005. I traveled with a friend, but we are both single, and met tons of other singles and had a great time. You can't beat the all-inclusive setup - the food and drinks were great - I enjoyed the mix of healthy exercise and spa treatments, beach and pool, delicious dining, and singing in the piano bar until the wee hours! I almost hate to write a rave review, in case it becomes too popular and I can't get another reservation!

    The 154 rooms, including suites and junior suites, with their white-washed walls and wood furniture are designed to be centers of peace and quiet. Many rooms have terraces overlooking the sea, and some are facing lush tropical gardens. The reduced-rate single rooms for solo travelers are luxurious and cozy. There are no TVs in sight, but guests can stay connected at the Internet Cafe. The Clubhouse also features a huge television. Rooms all have air conditioning, hairdryers and radio.

    The Cariblue restaurant is the spot for a divine low-calorie breakfast and lunch buffet. Guests arrive in whatever they happen to be wearing--bikini top and sarong are just fine--and enjoy guilt-free gourmet cuisine in the salt air. TAO, an East-West inspired restaurant with bamboo fans and Asian accents is all about balance and is the restaurant of choice for dinner. Guests can mingle and meet over fancy cocktails at the Piano Bar, which stays open late into the night. The Deli is open for snacks.

Landsports and watersports of every kind are offered: fencing, volleyball, archery, stretching classes, aerobics, snorkeling, windsurfing, waterskiing, sailing, kayaking and extraordinary scuba diving.
