Love my Facials!
I first stumbled across Walden Ashe a few years ago... I STILL come back to Walden Ashe for my facials. I believe this is the only place where I am so far willing to pay full price for a facial. I always get my facials with Sandy. She's great and she's been in the biz for quite some time. She is the best at extractions! whoooo! My skin always feels great and is glowing when I leave her hands. I feel the prices here are about the norm for spa services. Not too pricey, but not really a deal either. The decor is nice and tranquil. The place is kind of small in terms of the layout for the treatment rooms. I was just recently there last month and found out there there's a new owner. Not sure if anything really changed, as Sandy was still there and I still got the same great service I always did. However, this time when I went, the parking lot was full (its VERY small) and I had no place to park but out on the street at a meter. The new owner was very nice though and gave me plenty of change to fill it up and cover the time I would be there. I have taken my mom in here a few times for massages and she always enjoyed them! I have also done a body scrub with Sandy before too... and that was wonderful! I've always personally preferred scrubs over massages in general. Your entire body skin comes out sooooo smooth and soft after!

Excellent staff: thorough facials & massages.
The good: The staff is excellent and professional. They are very thorough & it is apparent that they do not skimp on the treatments when hands-on. Most other spas, especially on cruise ships do the basics. The staff is very professional, kind, and considerate. There is a eucalyptus steam cabinet which I love before a treatment. Wish they did/had: Include the steam cabinet with all massages or at least the hour long ones. Wish they had better parking availability. If you do not find a spot in the small pkg lot, then you need to park on the metered street. Unfortunately, maximum parking time is over before some treatments Obervations: The spa is a converted apartment(s) or something similar & is on the ground floor. It is small and the sitting area is a rather narrow hallway. They decorate it very well considering the layout. Scott, the receptionist, is always friendly and it is a pleasure just to make an appointment when he answers the phone. I continue to go to this spa although it is a little far away because of the staff and the service provided. The prices are reasonable as well.
