I have been a client at JR's Spa and Salon for over 10 years - I am a faithful Brazilian waxing client! Melinda is my favorite waxing technician - she's very professional, skillful and makes the experience very comfortable. My only complaint is that the price of the Brazilian wax is a little pricey (the spa rooms could be updated/remodeled to be more appealing).

OMG!!!! I just had a Hot Stone massage with Debora and it was sinfully wonderful. I have had many massages in the past but this was BY FAR the BEST EVER!!! Debora is a master at massage and extremely knowledgable, the hot stone massage was beyond awesome. If you want to treat yoursef to something great try this out. THANK YOU Debora!!!!!!

I have been to JRs twice now, once for a haircut and eyebrow wax and once to get my children's hair done (ages 10 and 4) for a special event. Both times, I was very pleased. My stylist is Karen FB and we just love her! She is very helpful with tips for maintaining your hair. The atmosphere is fun and friendly and I really look forward to trying out more of their services.

The really appealing thing about J.R.'s is the variety of services offered. That's what interested me. I wanted to see if a body wrap would help smooth the skin on the back of my legs. I scheduled a wet wrap. When I arrived, the staff told me I really needed a thermal wrap. I wish I had stuck to the wet wrap. When I got home, I had what looked like red bruises where the hot pads were applied. I asked around, and for what I wanted, the wet wrap would've been more beneficial. The thermal wrap really takes lots of visits for results. Even though the staff was nice, I'm disappointed. I expected to have a nice skin soothing treatment and ended up sweating through a hot wrap. The skin on my legs looked the same. There was no lotion, etc. even afterwards so at least they were soft. I feel like the cost of the service was a waste considering I wanted improvement for a vacation 9 days later. I wish the staff would've paid more attention to what I wanted, or have been better informed about the benefits of the types of wraps they offer.

What can I say about this salon & spa. They make you feel like guests and not a just another customer. We were welcomed by friendly staff and offered our choice of drink. Everyone we met were in good spirits, very professional and knowledgable. My bst friend and I had massages, facials and pedicures. What a relaxing day! They even had lunch brought in for us! Thanks J.R.'s staff! We WILL be back again and again!

This spa came highly recommended by a friend but I thought it was just OK. Staff wasn't overly friendly. There was an issue with the treatment I was to receive. It couldn've all been because staff were not available. I would give it another try.
