Shine Spa

Shine Spa is a great experience. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the staff members are very friendly and helpful. Services are affordable.

I really have enjoyed my experiences at Shine Spa. I first went there four years ago and I have been there several times since. I would recommend it!

The gentleman who did the massage was great but the lady who did my nails was short tempered and obviously in a hurry. She was getting frustrated with my slight hand movements and ran out as soon as my service was done.

Staff was average...If I wanted average I would have spent less money and gone to one of those chain places...Expected better service and felt rushed between appointments

My boyfriend booked me a massage/facial and mani/pedi for my birthday. The massage and facial were fine. But the mani/pedi was not so great. The lady who did mine didn't even work full-time for this spa. She was filling in from Beauty Brands b/c they were under-staffed that day. So my mani/pedi was lackluster at best, which soured my experience all together. I find it somewhat unprofessional to book clients and then your services not be worth the money spent.

The best facials and eye brow maintenance I've ever received -- highly recommend the Volcanic Mask Facial! Request Loren for waxes and facials -- she is the best. With pregnancy I'm going for prenatal massages and spa pedicures. The services are always superb and the Westport location is charming.

Shine Spa is a wonderful surprise - tucked away in Westport. The atmosphere is above and beyond with soothing sights and sounds. Very quiet despite a full staff moving about to keep the place clean and serviced. The place is VERY clean, including the showers, locker room and sauna.Tempature was great - kept you relaxed during your services.The complementary use of the sauna and steem showers is the best and really completes the experience. Most importantly, every massage with Cardon has been the best I have recieved anywhere. Only downside- stairs are ackward

I tried this place because it was new. The building was beautiful, but there was so much noise coming from the hallway and other rooms during my massage that I couldn't relax. The masseuse was apologetic, but it ruined my entire experience. I won't be back to this spa.

I have been to a couple of spas in the Kansas City area and have not been able to find the experience I was looking for until now. I was looking for a few hours to spend away from everything without having to leave town. I got the Shine Classic package and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My massage with Cardon was excellent. He allowed me to relax completely. I had reserved the steam shower (which you are free to do at no charge if you have a service of 60 minutes or more) and it was very nice. After my facial with Erica my skin looks great. I have never had such a professional facial except at expensive resort spas! This place was not that expensive and I felt like I got a great value for my money.In response to the reviewer who mentioned the stairs, it was not a problem for me. The staff scheduled my appointments so that I would not have to go upstairs until after I had showered and changed back into my clothes. I had a manicure and a pedicure upstairs after my facial. I was never rushed to my next appointment, as they had scheduled time in between to have some tea or a snack.It was also raining on the day I visited, but it was a weekday and I had no problem finding parking in the lot across the street.The reason I only gave four stars instead of five was because there were some issues with changing my packagae a few days before. The day before when they called to confirm, some of the services were not upgraded, and I don't think my pedicure was ever upgraded to the Duluxe Spa pedicure. They did charge me fifteen dollars less than the package price though, without me saying anything about it. Also, on the spa menu it says that packages come with a 'spa sampler' which I didn't receive, but probably could have asked for, and a snack, which I got the impression would be offered to me. Instead I just helped myself to tea and a granola bar.Overall the experience was superb. Once this place smoothes out some of the wrinkles in their operation, I know it will be a five-star esablishment!

I had a wonderful experience at this spa! I loved my facial and massage. The steam shower was very relaxing! Great atmosphere and helpful staff! I will return.
