I came in for an exfollation and facial. I was taken into a tile room and had someone rub an exfoliant all over my body while standing.. Not at all relaxing. Ater having this stuff smeared all over my body, I was then lead to the sauna. Then I was taken back into the tile room and was washed off, again while standing. I was then given my facial. That was nice. But I was a little surpised that neither my body or face was moisturized. I left the spa feeling with very dry skin from head to toe. This was not a nice relaxing experience I had hoped for.

I researched the spas in the area because I was looking for a more relaxing spa experience than the average strip mall nail salon. The spa looked nice on the website and the prices were reasonable so I booked an appointment for the "Relaxing Lavender Mani/Pedi". The decor inside is nice but I would say the overall experience was a little disappointing. My arms and legs were vigorously scrubbed and rubbed while the worker seemed uninterested and in a hurry to be done. The polish jobs on my fingers & toes turned out ok but both looked about the same as if I had done them myself at home. I have read other reviews that the massages and facials here are good but I would advise not to expect much more than if you had paid for the mani/pedi services at a regular nail salon around town.

Best spa i have ever been to! From the receptionist to the massage therapists to the esthitician was absolutely amazing. Never had a better facial or massage, everyone needs to know about this place!

I've received a gift certificate and did my research online in finding a spa that can accept my card. I was prompted to call Avalon. I spoke with the receptionist and she help assisted me on chosing a service. I chose a massage and facial. Once I arrived, I was offered champagne. Of the bat, I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism from the staff. They had locker rooms, and a full shower there. The place is very clean and looked amazing. I first had my massage. The young lady helped me with my knots and worked on my joints. She worked miracles. I then had a facial with another girl with short hair. Fantastic job! She was very knowledgeable with skin and she helped a lot with my sun spots. I didn't realize that you can lighten spots. I am a firm believer of this place and I love it. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

I was extremely disappointed with the service I received at this spa. I found this spa on the SpaFinder site so that I could use my giftcard, and will never return. The man that delivered my pedicure did not speak English, nor did he seem to care when I tried to explain that I did not want the scrub on my legs and only wanted it on my feet-after he polished my nails, he left me to dry and I never saw him again-there were several young staff members hanging out at the front desk that could have checked on me, but as a result of my neglect, I left too early & dinged up my nails. Too bad, the spa itself was clean & attractive, but poorly run.

I've heard nothing but good things about this spa from my friends. Since I live in Sacramento, I couldn't really have time to go to Rocklin for the service. My friend bought me a spafinder GC, and that's when I decided to take some time to go there. The Massage by a girl named MICHELLE is the best ever!!! Wow!!! I am now a firm believer of this place!

I got my facial done by Ann, and she is one of the smartest and sweetest esthetician around. She taught me about skin and recommended me a great skincare, Infinite Skin, and I just love it! I am so hooked, now, I'm a member at their spa!

I love it there! I had my massage and nails done, and I came out looking and feeling great! Awesome place. I highly recommend!

I get all of my spa treatments done at Avalon because of the great customer service! From nails, to hair, to massage, to facials they never let me down! They are friendly, the environment is great!
