I went to this business last week to get my haircut. I had never been anywhere in Williamsburg before, however I chose to go to European Day Spa because it appeared to be a good place to visit. I am very weird about who I let cut my hair, but after doing some research online and coming across the name of this business multiple times I was convinced that it must be the one. If only I could go back in time. I asked to get my split ends cut off, and to have it cut straight across my back. Nothing fancy, just a simple haircut. Yanush was unable to do any of the above. He did not even come close to getting rid of the dead ends, and my hair was all kinds of crooked once he was finished. I was very unsatisfied with the entire experience. This was a $40 haircut that was not worth more than $5. You would be better off going to Walmart, and Yanush says he would be more than happy to send you there. The owner, Miriam/Muriel, does not care for her clientele. They were unable to handle the situation professionally and instead attacked me for complaining about the haircut. I was told on two different occasions that I would be receiving a phone call to settle the issue and was never contacted. Whenever I went back in for the third time Miriam/Muriel told me that she never had any intention of calling me back.
Do not make the same mistake I did. If you are looking to be treated well as a customer or receive quality service, this is not the place for you. Take my word for it because I know from personal experience that it is not worth the risk.

I booked an appointment for massages and facials for a friend of mine that was getting married and myself last September and it was wonderful! Very attentive and friendly staff. I have since been coming back for waxing and massages and couldn't be happier with the service.

I visit this spa just this week while on vacation. I was scheduled for a 2 pm appt. for massage and manicure. I arrived at 1:50 no one was at the front desk to greet me , a manicurist left her client to see what i wanted . I was given no direction as to where I was to wait or any massage form to fill out , 20 minutes later I was asked who I was and again given no mention of how much longer it would be or where I was to go. Five minute later I asked how much longer it would be, the front desk assitant went to see, meanwhile the manicurst has stopped her client twice to go talk to another technican in the back ( then I find out this was the massage therapist whom was to perform my service) the front desk assitant comes back and tells me it will be 10 more minutes. Five more mintues go by the massage therapist comes out does not aknowlege me at all ,whispers to the front desk assitant statrs to head back toward the spa area and again the manicurist stops her manicure tell the massage therapist she has to talk to her , they go ib the back and at this point I have been there for 45 min , so I tell the front desk assitant that I am no longer waiting and I precede to leave. I tried unsucessfully to reach the owner/ manager. I vacation several times a yr. in this area and will not be visiting this spa again, nor would I sugest anyone else to.POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
