Cancelled appointment!
I made an appointment the previous day for 9:15 am. I got up early to shower and get ready and drive to the shop. On the way, I get a call from Plano Body Wrap that they overbooked the rooms and are canceling me! Add to that, they can't even get me in the schedule until three days later when I am already supposed to be on vacation! This "business" will not see me step foot in their door!

Liked the Spa, Really poor phone service
I have gone to this spa for close to 2 years and I love the girl I see. They give great spray tans and I've had one wrap and I felt poorly prepared. First, scheduling anything is near impossible because the phone is answered mostly by a machine and you never know whether or not they will call you back, usually in my experience I am the one that has to call back. As far as the wrap, they don't warn you that you will be a sweaty mess, wouldn't want to run and grab groceries after this wrap. I found some of the staff to be a bit snobby and I think they should have a bathroom or dressing area for guests. Right now it is an industrial sink and is not so conducive to putting your makeup on or just touching up - there is no where to set you stuff unless it's literally in the sink. I think a nice stocked dressing area (i.e., hairspray, cotton, lotion, hairdryer, etc.) would be a really nice addition.

Awesome Wrap
My fiance and I visited this spa to have the sudatonic wrap done. We came in about thirty minutes early, but were still able to receive our services right away. I wish I could remember the staff members' names, but they were friendly and knowledgable. The lady who serviced me, who seemed to be the owner of the place, was a tiny bit unprofessional (using a mild curse word, and commenting on how I was too young to be getting married) but still very likeable. Overall, I really liked this place, and what was really important was the service. The heat got a little unbearable toward the end and I felt so gross dripping with so much sweat! But it was worth it. I dropped two pounds, and my fiance dropped one. We were really impressed with the results. And I will be back before my wedding!

Vacation Wrap
I went this spa because several of my friends recommended that I try it out. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and made me feel as comfortable as I could be, half naked in front of a perfect stranger. I was wrapped up like a mummy and then had to move. After the wrap I went home and tried on my bikini and could see a noticeable reduction in my cellulite. I then tried on a pair of jeans that I had a muffin top in and the pants fit soo much better. My muffin top was virtually gone. After we cam back from vacation I went in to detox with a Sudatonic wrap and sweated like I have never in my entire life. I felt like I had jogged 10 miles but absolutely loved the feeling that I had. I have become a lifetime customer and definately recommed it to anyone wanting to fit better into a tight dress or anytype of clostes. Oh and the tans are amazing!

Honestly this people have no idea what they are talkin about. I have not visited this place nor plan to, I simply called to get some sort of information on their services, when the receptionist answer, well if you can call it that. I asked a simple questions, first i was transfered to more than one person just because the RECEPTIONIST,did not have the answer to my question, and all she said was , the wrap is based on all the minerals your body needs.I think that if you want customers to be convinced you have to be more specific on the way you explain how your services work.

June 1, 2010 we had a new receptionist and of course she's not going to have all the answers. I'm sorry to hear that you did not get the answers you were looking for.

Love it!
Between the sudatonic and power wraps I've lost inches and weight. I love the staff, they are fantastic! I've done the power wrap (referenced by previous reviewer) and the intent isn't to exercise but just to keep the body moving - very low impact and NOT strenuous. All the wraps are very detoxifying and I sleep great that night! They also do spray tans which are fantastic - manual spray customized to each individual. I go to this spa weekly and will continue to so - they're always running monthly specials that make it affordable. Highly recommend!

I got a serious rash!
I don't know what they put in that solution, but I developed a serious rash, and so did my friend! We both went together to have inch loss wraps. First, they wraped us up in the solution and then the had us to exercise for a whole hour! We both itched a little bit, but did not think it was a problem. After the hour of exercise, they measured us. We both lost inches, but it was most likely water weight because we were sweating like crazy from the workout. Any way, the next day we had red bumps All over our bodies! We called the body shop and they said it was an allergic reaction. So I will never step foot in that place again. The solution has way too many ingredients, one of them is gold. I am not sure why you need gold to lose inches, but if you ask me, it is just a bunch of hoop la! I called another place that offered Inch Loss wraps and their ingredients are much kinder to the body and they don't make you work out for a whole hour! So I advise people to do their homework before running to this chain body wrap shop.

In our Powerwrap it's virtually impossible to sweat because the bandages go on warm and then cool off rather quickly. We place a poncho over your wrapped body to try to retain some of your body heat so that you don't freeze to death. There is movement involved but it's basic swinging your legs back and forth but we've NEVER had anyone break out in a sweat. We place a heater in the room with you to try to keep you warm. Our sudatonic wrap, on the other hand, is an infrared wrap and you will sweat like you never have in your life. As far as the minerals are concerned, if you pick up a rock and have an allergic reaction you will be allergic to the solution. Otherwise it's basic minerals that you should be getting on a daily basis.
