    Tricho Salon and Spa is a 7,000-square-foot full-service facility including eight treatment rooms, a quiet room with candles, a Vichy shower room, and a dual room for couples or friends to enjoy massages and facials. The talented staff performs treatments including specialty facials, reiki, Reflexology, hot stone massage, and prenatal massage. Signature treatments are the Ashiatsu Massage, a deep, luxurious massage in which the therapist's feet deliver soothing strokes to the back and the Body Polish Vichy Room treatment. The spa also has a Visia Complexion Analysis Machine as seen in Glamour.

I've been going to this salon for a number of years and I can't say enough positive things about it and especially my stylist Dave who has been doing my hair for over 10 years. Dave is a professional from start to finish and each and every visit. Thanks Dave and Tricho Salon for all the great years of service.

I felt totally out of place at this Salon, I'm 40 and I wanted color and a cut, ended up just doing a cut, maybe it was the person I worked with or maybe it was just me, but I felt like I needed to be 20 years younger to have my hair done here. The cut was good, but I don't think I will go back again!

I would never in million years visit this Salon Again. I have been going for years with my mother to see a specific hair stylist who I now request to have her at my home only. I am trying to grow my hair out for my wedding and just had my blonde re-done, and highlights. Just to refresh my already blonde hair. Well I am not a hair stylist but I found out that you are not suppose to put foils with bleach on someones hair and put them under the heater. Well I had that done to me and sat under the heat for 10 minutes. They then forgot about me for 20 min. then came back and put me under for another 10. When the hair stylist washed my hair she said that my hair felt all gooey. Look I dunked my hair in a bowl of gel. She re washed my hair and it still felt like that. I had it like that for 2 MONTHS! I tried everything to get it out! I figured every hairstylist says oh your color will fade over time, or just give things time. So that is what I did. I did nothing but wash my hair, try different conditioners, I didn't even have to wash my hair at all and I could put a comb through my hair with no problem...you would think that would be fine right? NOPE! If I left my hair to air dry it turned into STRAW! My HAIR WAS BREAKING OFF!!!! My

I loved my experience at Tricho. The front desk was very helpful and polite. I met michelle and I am very satisfied. Michelle gave me a great new style and i get compliments all the time! She even took a picture of my hair once she was done for her portfolio. which i thought was very cool! She taught me how to get some great volume and thickness in my hair. The shampoo she recommended actually works very well. I'll be back!

Ive been reading all these reviews, WHAT ARE YOU GUYS TALKING ABOUT!!!!!!!! Do u know that there are 3 different locations. I recently was a costumer at tricho salon and spa in NOVI! I was a walk-in, The receptionist told me stefanie would be with me soon. Less then thirty seconds Stefanie walked up. Ive had a bad experience with PERVIOUS stylist. Stefanie listened to me, understood what I was saying. She repeated what i said so that we were on the same page. I was given the BEST BEST head massage at the shampoo bowl. I didn't want it to end. I was treated like a queen. She walked me through everything she was doing, i felt so comfortable. She talked to me about my styling routine, what products ive used in the past. She recommended the RIGHT products to use. Ive never been happier. I was given the best blow out. Ill defiantly be a regular client of hers!!!

I work in the mall near Tricho and I was reffered by some other girls in the mall. They told me to go to Michelle. I had to write this review because Im so thankful to her. I dyed my hair red and then tried to take it out myself and then it turned bright orange on the ends and brownish on the top. I told her i didn't want to dye it darker just lighter and she made it look AMAZING without even stripping it. She made my hair look SOOOOOO GOOOD! I dont know what she did, but it lfeels a little healthier, looks beautiful and now i'm getting so many compliments. She's pretty talked about in 12 oaks thats for sure! I have just had the best experiece!! I was kind of afraid to try the mall but wow!!! I walked into tricho salon and was greeted with a smile by the receptionist. He checked me in and my stylist came out and greeted me, also with a comforting smile and hand shake. Jeannie, my stylist, knew exactly what I needed when I sat down. She took the time to listen to my needs which means a lot to me. I have never felt so good about my hair:). Upon leaving ,Jeannie walked me to the front and recommended the products that I needed to keep up my new style. I feel beautiful again, thank you tricho.

I went there and was not greeted, i stood there waiting to be helped and one of the girls was doing her makeup, the other was doing her nails. Finally someone came up and asked if id been helped. One women who must have been the manager was rude and kinda brushed me off. I got my hair service which was amazing. I had a great blow out and wonderful color. My stylist walked me to the front and waited patiently with me until i was checked out. I would only go back to see her. The salon experience was horrible. If ur paying alot of money to get ur hair done i want the ppl to treat me like royalty. Not like i bother them.

I regret going to this salon. I asked the hair stylist for a dusting-I just wanted a tiny bit of hair taken off of my ends because I was trying to grow my hair out. When I left, literally half of my hair that once was six inches below my shoulders, was now above my shoulders. The stylist took six to nine inches of hair length off of me and I was left with massive layers. That was almost two years ago and I am still trying to recover. It has been a nightmare for me. I truly regret going into that place.

I had a similar experience.... My massage was fantastic, but I will not return because the front desk is unwelcoming and arrogant. I gave them 2 chances and the same guy was working and was rude both times!

I'm not much of a spa go-er in the first place, but I cannot explain how un-welcomed I felt by this salon. I felt as if I was inconveniencing the front staff as I interrupted them talking about other employees in their establishment. The spa was very relaxing, clean and quiet. The employee who did my eyebrows was fantastic as well as my masseuse! Though the second I walked out to pay for my services I once again felt like such a bother. Not to mention, it looks very unprofessional when employees are sitting with their feet on the counter at the front, at least to me it does. For the environment and beauty of this establishment, you would think you'd see a bit more professionalism.!

I have never had someone really tell me what would be best for my face shape. I usually go into a place to get my hair done and I tell them what I think I would like. Betsy was so much different. She took the time to tell me what kind of a look would be best for my features, and then she taught me how to do my hair myself. I can't speak highly enough about what this has done for me. I get at least one compliment a day on how great my hair looks! I tell everyone I meet how great she is. The only bummer, is that she is not easy to get in with. I have to always remember to make my next appointment with her before I leave the salon. The place is very busy, which makes sense when their staff is so good. Lots of energy.

Ive visited this spa a few times. I thought maybe I got someone having a bad day and that was why services were just so-so. For what you pay at this spa you should not get so-so service. The hair stylists and colorist do great color, but I was told if I wanted my hair to always look hot that I should tip good. Wow asking for a good tip? And only getting good service if I tip good? If im paying $250 for a cut and color Im going to tip but come on? I like to relax at the spa, but if you dont walk in in high heels and dressed up your going to be treated rude. The front desk staff do that snotty I am better than you look. I was not impressed and I wont be going there again. Spa treatments here are no better than those at a less expensive spa.

I have been going to this spa for about six months now. The staff is very kind and helpful, despite being super busy. Facilities are clean. Tricho is located within Twelve Oaks Mall, so you would think it would be quite noisy from the foot traffic; I had the quietest and most relaxing experience. If you are getting a massage, ask for Kelsey. She is new there, but she is the best! And if you feel like adding on reflexology, hot stone massage, etc. Maria is amazing! Ivetta does an awesome job with waxing (well worth the money!!), although I did not see any benefits from the facial I got. It was a very relaxing experience nonetheless. I have gotten my hair done at the salon part before, and have been less than impressed with it. It was a pretty simple highlight job, but they missed a huge patch in the front, so I went to Aveda and got this redone. A student did it better! As for my overall impression of Tricho, go to the spa, but not the salon. If you are unsure, get an eyebrow wax just to check out the spa area for yourself. If you don't mind paying a bit more, you will be impressed with the service and ambiance.
