Unprofessional, rushed, and distracted

I just had my hair cut and colored at La Bella, and the service was unprofessional and poor. The gal told me she was rushing because she was double booked, and then only half listened to me. She seemed unaware that I was a person and that service mattered. The employees talked mostly to each other, and barely spoke to me. They took a break and left me completely alone in the salon for at least 15 minutes. I left with my hair still damp and not styled, and the color was not complete enough I could still see my previous color underneath in areas. Usually a spa day I leave feeling special and like I took time for myself, and this experience had me feeling like I was pushed through and overlooked. I would not return here again, especially when there are so many establishments that will focus on both service and product.

I had to wait 45 minutes despite the fact that I made an appointment. When I called to make my appointment I specifically mentioned I had a spafinder gift certificate, when I went to pay the cashier told me they don't accept spafinder certificates on certain days. The staff was very friendly and did apologize. I did enjoy my massage =)

I just visited La Bella Day Spa recently and took my girlfriend there for our anniversary for the couples retreat. It was a very romantic and relaxed setting in the room . Perfect for our anniversary date. We were put in the couples room with a nice glass of champane, chocolates and fruit. After our refreshments we had our massages and they were very relaxing. The girls were nice and very accomodating. My girlfriend loved it! Thank you for a great evening.

Hello, I actaully love to go in the spa once a month to relax and get away. So I decided to try this place. Well I had gone in for a massage and it was not at all relaxing, to make matters worse it was like the girl had no clue what she was doing which is very dangerous because I have a history of back problems and the therapist never asked before performing the massage about it. Kind of scary!

So I was given a spafinder gift card for my 36th birthday day a couple of months ago and decided to use it. So I came in for my appointment, the lady at the reception area told me to go have a seat and not really in a welcoming way. So as I am waiting I notice alot of scuzzy men coming in for massages, so very weird and akward I must say! So I went in for my massage. which I will admit it was a ok but I dont think I would ever come back. Thanks away!

I wish I were fortunate enough to rave about the wonderful services at La Bella Spa, my personal experience was very, very far from it. I headed out to La Bella yesterday after my personal Hairstylist went on Maternity leave. I live in the area and have alway noticed La Bella Day Spa and Salon expecially from the huge "WALK-INS WELCOME" banner strung upon the side of the facility. I thought surely they would have someone available. The woman who first assisted me I belived to be the Owner or Spa Coordinator, she said they did indeed have someone available she was just out promoting herself and would be back in 10 minutes. Happy to wait I sat down and waited. Not two minutes later A woman in the next room came out and asked if id been helped, I said yes, I was a walk in and I was just waiting. She then escorted me to her chair and started taking down my hair while talking on the phone, a few minutes into this, the woman who was out promoting herself came in and said "this is my client shes here for my special" the lady (still on the phone) lifted up her hands and let me leave her chair. I then followed the seconed hairstylist "Liz" to her chair and began to tell her what I wanted. I wanted a partial highlight touch up, what I always get and a cut. She started going into detail of a darker blonde with a lighter color weaved through, even dragging me outside to show me color swatches. I finally agreed to whatever she wanted to do, saying I trusted her expertise. Following her back inside the salon, to the chair, she said "okay well, I just have to go buy the color, its right up the street" .....Ummmm..... Okay, I guess thats fine. After she left I looked around the Spa, I was compleatly alone, theres a whole nail salon on the seconed level that was deserted, not one other client or stylist not even a receptionist answering the phones! I began to feel very awkward, I wasnt even left a magazine or offered a cup of water! I could of robbed the place if I wanted too. After sitting in the deserted Spa, feeling very odd and un comfertable, I walked out as she was walking back in! Let me also add I am in the industry, I have been a Esthetician for 8 years. I have never ever, been in a Spa or worked with any professional thereapist who would leave a client in the middle of a treatment to go buy more product! Not only that, but who would ever, EVER would desert a paying customer in a EMPTY Day Spa and not provide an ounce of customer service or intergrity? La Bella Day Spa shoud not be in the business of pleasure!! I would not call any minute of my time here "Professional" the were not prepared for walk ins and should not have a huge sign stating that they are. Oh,and trust me, I really WOULD know =)

THIS IS THE CUTEST PLACE IN UPLAND AND THE STAFF IS SO NICE THEY MADE ME FEEL RIGHT AT HOME. I GOT MY PEDI THERE AND IT WAS VERY RELAXING AS IT IS SET IN A SPA ATMOSPHERE AND MAY I SAY VERY CLEAN....

I recently went to La Bella. It's right next to the railroad tracks. They have a sign indoors for customers to turn off cell phones and keep quiet for courtesy, yet the employee's stand in the hallway talking and laughing outloud. There was too much time to wait to be seen and in between my facial and massage. Huge no no! Also they had the nerve to seat a man who was there just waiting for his girlfriend in the relaxing room where woman are in their robes!! The woman who does facials needs some extra training too.
