Skin & Body Spa, The

The experience at the spa was very relaxing and friendly. However, the following day the nail polish started to peel and chip. For the price of the manicure, I would have expected the quality of the nail polish to last longer than 1 day. On the 2nd day, 4 of my nails had the nail polished peeled right off, while 2 others had chips. I also had a pedicure done at the same time, however so far, the polish seems to be staying on. I also want to bring attention to the fact that I do not have a job that is tough on the hands, etc. where the polish was be exposed either.

I have been coming here for over 10 years now and have not had a bad experience. All of the treatments are my favourite and the employees go above and beyond. Treat yourself to an awesome experience and get pampered at The Skin & Body Rejuvenation Clinic. You will not be disappointed.

I had a great day at Skin and Body! I had an hour of Masssage Therapy (not many spas have registered therapists) and a manicure/pedicure. My body, hands and feet feel fantastic and the colour selection for my polish was vast. I picked up a "Club Card" that entitles me to many discounts and free trials. I'll be back & I'll be bringing my friends and family! Thanks for a great day ladies!

WOW Is all I can say. I loved everything about this spa. Ashley, the owner, was present while I waiting to have my treatment and really took the time to talk to me and get to know me. This staff was very professional and welcoming, and I have not seen that any where else that I have been. I had my treatments with Lindsey, who was also very welcoming and had a warm touch to her treatments. I had a relaxing manicure and pedicure and left feeling refreshed and completely renewed. I definitely would recommend this spa to anyone who wants top service of the top professionals in Oshawa. Thank you so much! Nicole

I came to the spa for Massage Therapy. I had receieved a SpaFinder Gift Card from my husband and didn't know what I would do with it. But When I woke up on a Thursday morning with terrible low back pain, I knew I needed a massage! I called all the SpaFinder spas in Oshawa and the Skin & Body Rejuvenation Clinic was the only one that had a Massage Therapy appointment available on a Wednesday afternoon. Andrea, (the Massage Therapist) was very friendly and considerate, she taught me how to lay so I would be comfortable & communicated well to make sure the pressure was good, and even massaged my feet at the end so I would feel relaxed as well as no pain. She told me I could take my time getting off the table & when I was ready she showed me a proper sitting posture and tips for sitting at my desk for work and in my car. I left the spa last Thursday with no pain & 2 appointments to see Andrea again this month! I will recommend Andrea & this spa to my friends and family. I am so grateful to be rid of the pain, even a week later!! Thanks Guys!

I have never been to a spa before and I was a little nervous so I made my husband (who got me the gift certificate) come for a massage while I had my manicure, pedicure and facial. I have no idea why I was so apprehensive because it was the best experience of my entire life. I am hooked! The entire staff was extremely accommodating, very warm and friendly. I left with their club card and now I can continue to go regularly and SAVE!!! Thanks Skin & Body Rejuvination Clinic for making me so comfortable and answering all my questions... can't wait for my next appointment!

I've been to a few spas in my 40 years and this one was fantastic! I spent the full day at the spa and was pampered the whole time. I started with a Mud Wrap, that made me feel like melted butter and made my skin feel like silk. The room I had my mud wrap in also had it's own shower so I felt very comfortable and didn't worry about privacy when changing or showering. I then had a Massage from one of the spa's registered Massage Therapist which was lovely. She was very informative and provided a therapeutic massage to relax my shoulders and neck, and it was very relaxing. i was putty in her hands. From there I had a customized facial. the products all smelt great and the aesthetician must have had about 50 different products so my facial was ultra tailored to my skins needs, and she explained each one and how it was helping my skin. The facial also included a neck, shoulder, and arm massage as well. During the facial i asked the aesthetician for advice on my chapped lips and this spa actually has a lip treatment to help fight dryness throughout the winter, it left my rough lips feeling plump and smooth. The aesthetician also recommended eye lash extensions so that I wouldn't have to wear a harsh mascara. The extensions have lasted 10 days so far! After the facial I had my lunch; a delicious and healthy pita with a side salad and tea and water. Then it was on to my manicure and pedicure. Both had something extra to them. The manicure included paraffin waxing to further hydrate my poor hands and it was warm so it was great for the rainy cool day I had gone in. And the pedicure included a mud wrap for my feet (two muds in one day!!) which was also warm and mad me cozy. Most of the pedicure was done while I lay on the aesthetic bed, so I could truly enjoy the calve and foot massage and relax while my nails were painted. My hands and toe polish had not chipped yet (it has been 10 days). At the end of my treatment the girls all gave me little cards with their recommendations for when I should return, what products I should use and tips for habits to get into at home (ie: one month for my facial, a cleanser that wouldn't dry my skin but would still be able to remove all my make-up and to drink 6 glasses of water a day) I was at the spa for just over 6 hours, when they said the whole day they meant it. I started at 10am and was floating out at 4:30pm. The spa carried 2 different product lines o i was able to get my facial products from one and a body wash and moisturizer that suited my needs from the other, both at good prices. And i got a membership card that allowed me 10% off the product & special deals and discounts for my visit next month. I was very pleased with my spa experience at the Skin & Body Rejuvenation Clinic, and have already referred my sister and co-workers. The spa is well decorated and very tranquil. Once inside I totally forgot the rainy, windy day outside. The staff (all female) were all very friendly and welcoming. I booked myself in for one month & will be getting some gift certificates for those on my christmas list for sure!
