My husband and I had a reservation this past weekend. We were having a bad series of experiences with the Queen Mary in general so we decided to leave the hotel early. Since we had reservations at the Spa, their manager Rebecca stated we could cancel but would forfeit 50% of the reservation amount (about $220) because it was related to something other than a medical emergency. This message wasn't delivered in an approriate customer service manner, but in a condesending, arrogant manner. We ended up holding our end and showed up anyways the next morning. However, none of their staff showed up for over an hour. By the time the manager showed up, over an hour and half passed (and still no staff). We eventually were promised to receive a full refund. It is unfortunate how much we had to go through to get it. THis manager is not prepared to do her job and needs a lesson in customer care and I am never, ever coming back

Dear Christine, We are again so sorry for your horrible expirience. The spa had actually logged that you had cancelled and was completely unprepared for that before hours appointment. We have since replaced management and are working to improve efficiency and customer service. We would be happy to give you the services on us would you ever choose to come back. Oh! I believe in Facials! This may seem an entirely insane statement but hear me out please and then feel free to pass judgement. Ok I am a Certified MassageAholic. Addicted since age 16. Some women shop, some see therapists, I get Massages. Over the years here and there I will get myself a facial as well, for this occasion or that skin problem, but the results seemed only slightly better than what I could get myself from the local drug store and the expirience truly lacking. The Queen Mar Spa changed my opinion ladies. The results are incredible, I had this delightful lip and eye treatement for lines for a party and the results are still going strong 2 weeks later. But not only did it get results, I left as relaxed as if I had recieved a massage! The quality of service was marvelous and the therapist actually immensly knowledgable.
Oh & of course I had to get a massage. I never pass through spa doors without one, and this one sincerely did not diappoint. Theresa or Terry (Im horrendous with names.) was absolutely delightful. The number of therapists I have expirienced is reaching 3 digits and she still made the top 10.
They always say that its not about size but rather technique and in the case of the Queen mary Spa I would agree
