We had a “BIG CHILL” weekend with friends in Williamsburg, and treated ourselves to the couples’ hot stone massage with raindrop therapy given by Tina and Charmaine. Professionalism, ambiance and wonderfully relaxing experience! We chose this spa from internet reviews -- “A no-frill spa with superb service.” True to form, I highly recommend this spa for exceptional therapeutic massage.

I highly recommend this place! I had Tina for a Raindrop Massage and Foot Scrub. I enjoyed it so much, I didn't want it to end. If you are stressed out, need a few kinks worked out of your muscles, or just want to be pampered; this is definitely the place to go!

I have suffered from chronic back pain 20 + years and was receiving massages at least once a week. I moved to the area in June and by chance (or God) I stumbled upon Tina. After 2-3 weekly massages I felt no pain. It was amazing, after years of aches, for the first time I have zero pain. I really did not know what it felt like not to hurt. Thanks Tina you are God sent!

I absolutely love Tina at Heaven Sent Hands. She has been my masseuse for over three years. She has recently been working on all my sore muscles as a result of my move to a new house. I walk in stiff and sore and she is able to work all the stiffness out. I feel like a new person when she has completed my massage. I heartily recommend her to anyone who wants a wonderful massage. It's such a treat to come to see her.

My husband and I got a couple's deep tissue massage while on vacation in Williamsburg. We both get massages regularly (for sports, improving flexibility, etc.), and we have been disappointed by spas in the past that promise "deep tissue" massages but don't use nearly enough pressure. Heaven Sent Hands for Massage exceeded all of our expectations. The staff took the time to understand what we wanted, they were kind and professional, and both of our masseuses did an outstanding job. The massage spaces were immaculate and very comfortable -- softly lit, with warmed beds and hot towels. We felt so good after our first visit, we scheduled a second visit for later that week! If you want a robe and slippers, go to one of the big spas. But if you want a truly healing massage, go here. Tip: there is a $50 special on Mondays and Tuesdays for a one-hour massage (if you pay with cash or check).

OH MY GOD!!! My sister and had our first massage during spring break and I really don't have the right words to describe it. Gina was amazing and the experience was beyond what I imagined. The atmosphere was very welcoming and I never thought the kinks in my neck and shoulder would ever go away, but they did. I will return on a regular basis. Having been to several spas around the world, I can say without question, this was the best massage I have ever had!! I was in Williamsburg for a week of vacation and was glad to see Refresh so highly recommended here. I emailed for an appointment and got a quick reply on my cell phone. I got the time I requested, but was told that there has been a change in ownership and staffing and that Renee would be glad to see me. When I arrived on the day of my appointment she greeted me graciously, took my information, then showed me to a comfortable, uncluttered therapy room. I was very happy with the expert massage from Renee - and she was not talkative. Friendly, but not talkative. A very good 90-minute massage experience. I'll definitely repeat this if I'm ever in Billburg again!

My husband and I took a vacation to Williamsburg and wanted it to be a relaxing week. I looked around online before I went and booked us a couples massage with the hot stones at Refresh. Which my husband wasn't really up for because to him this was a woman thing to do. :) This was the first massage for the both of us and we loved it. The ladies we're extremely nice and made sure we were both comfortable considering this was are first time. I just wish they were located around me so I could continue going back. Whenever we visit again to Williamsburg this will be that first appointment I make. Thanks ladies so much for the enjoyable experience!!!!

I returned to Refresh after receiving the best-ever massage/facial from Caroline (who no longer works there), this time with my best friend who'd never gotten a massage before. We arranged to have 30 min. facials & 30 min. massages. Refresh called the morning of our visit to say they couldn't give us facials. We'd confirmed out appts. 2 weeks prior. We were traveling from out of town for a "spa" weekend; what were we supposed to do now? They also had only booked 1 appt. for the 2 of us. Can you not manage to make a simple appt.? Deborah then called us back to say it was all back on after all. All I can say is it was as though they'd scrambled last minute to find some random person to give us our massages. **Side note: Cynthia was AMAZING! Please, go see her! SHE is an ACTUAL professional and made me feel sooo peaceful. But Deborah, who came to give me my massage after Cynthia did my facial, was a nightmare!! She smelled of cigarettes, used so much pressure she HURT me even when I said "Ow!," talked WAY too much, only did 20 min. when I paid for 30 min., practically popped my wrist out of place and then lectured me on how I should see a chiropractor?! I also wrote on my card prior the backs of my legs sometimes get ticklish. When I mentioned this during the massage, she said "Uh oh, well, you should have put that on your card." I did, you IDIOT. Maybe you should've READ my card. And to make it worse, she didn't use enough lotion, so her rough movements felt like she was going to pull the skin right off my arms!! UGH! Out of the 11 massages I've received in my life from from various therapists, this was BY FAR, the WORST I'd ever had. I've never left a massage so stressed, sore and angry! Now, the icing on the cake, my poor friend who'd never gotten a massage before was also massaged by Deborah, who KISSED MY FRIEND'S FOREHEAD at the end of the massage!!! Is this woman even licensed? How inappropriate! I am EMBARRASSED that I recommended this place & WON'T be back.

While on a timeshare week at the Williamsburg Plantation, my sister and I needed spa treatments for different physical reasons. Mine being because I sit in front of a computer every day and could barely turn my head. I found Refresh Centers' website very inviting, and pricing very reasonable. So many choices it was hard to decide. So we explained our wants and they fit us to the perfect massage therapist and combined various therapies to suit our needs. Sara Plato worked on me for 90 minutes, using deep tissue massage, reflexology on my high arches, and Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage that was simply out of this world! I get massages regularly, but this woman has the strongest hands and most trained techniques I've ever had! When you tell her deep tissue, she chases away the knots and gets into tissues you didn't know you had! I will definitely be back and request Sara again, as often as possible! My sister, with a slipped disk, had Cynthia Kozak, who did the Raindrop therapy, facial, and massage, and chatted with me while my sister woke up, wiped off the drool, and got herself put back together. She came out after her 90 minutes, looking like I did...a complete marshmallow! It made for a perfect week. We HIGHLY recommend going here while you're in Williamsburg! You will write a review like I just did! Thank you ladies, for your great southern hospitality! We'll see you again very soon!

My friend and I wanted to get a massage while we were vacationing in Williamsburg with our husbands. As I am very particular, I wanted to make sure the Spa had high recommendations. So through trust in the previous reviewers positive feedback, I booked our appointments with Refresh Center. We were very pleased! The staff was friendly, the spa was clean, and I left REFRESHED! Sarah was my therapist and was excellent! When I return to Williamsburg, I will definately be back!

Caroline was truly a blessing! By far, I had the best massage ever in my life. She took the time to listen to my needs and was focused on me the entire time! The spa worked with me to find a time that would fit during a quick stay in Williamsburg. They were incredibly easy to contact through email. The only negative is that Refresh! is not in my home town. lol I guess I will have to start coming to Williamsburg more often because I feel more relaxed than I have in years. Muscles that were knotted up for over a year are now pain free!

Refresh is definitely one of those not-to-miss places in Williamsburg. My mom and I went here recently for the European Hot Stone Massage and facials to take advantage of my vacation time from work. We must have had the luck of the draw when choosing from an array of salons/therapy centers in an area we don't live in because this was – hands down – one of the best massages I've ever had. Caroline took the time to ask me about my skin care regimen and what I needed out of a massage in order to really tailor both the massage and facial to my individualized needs. Working late hours as a reporter in D.C., I have never felt THIS relaxed – and trust me, I needed it. So ladies (& gents), take the time out to swing by Refresh if you're going to be in the area. My husband purchased Spa Finder gift cards for me and my best friend for Christmas, and the experience at Refresh was exceptional. Caroline, the owner, was very courteous and accommodating while scheduling the appointment. The environment was warm and welcoming, and we were greeted by name the minute we walked into the door. We both got facials and hot stone massages. Our therapists, Alexandra and Elisa were talented, responsive, and receptive to our needs. I plan to return as often as possible while I am living in Williamsburg! I have been to other spas, and Refresh is by far my favorite!!!

Going to a new spa in a different city is always a tricky proposition. Boy, did I choose well! Caroline gave me one of the best massages of my life -- warm, personalized, incredibly relaxing and comfortable. The spa is very clean and the massage rooms were roomy and warm with all the amenities. The prices were very reasonable and they worked to fit me in at the last minute. I only wish that I could pick up the entire place and relocate it to my hometown. I guess I have a reason to come back to Williamsburg now.

Just had the european 60 minute massage with stones, we went over the time frame about 35 minutes and my therapist did not even charge me! She was very niced offered me water, and told me everything she was doing, and also gave me tips on how to prove posture, etc. Best massage i've had! Simply wonderful in every aspect! Deffinitley reccommend it to anyone in the area!

I have been to many spas in my life and this one finally got it right. Not only do you have one of the largest selection of massage styles, but also you will find that each therapist in the group has their own particular specialty. All the service and ambience of a resort spa without the super-high cost. I find the rates very reasonable and I always come away from Refresh feeling as I got more than my money's worth. TA New Kent

I have attended this spa and had massages from the owner for many years and prefer her to any other in the business. The facilities are relaxing, very clean, and inviting. Those who work there are friendly and will answer your questions or lead you to a source who can. It is always comforting to go there and always feel better after the experience towards better health.

Lacey is very good at listening to my needs. She is able to release tension that sometimes causes severe pain. When I leave her office I am completely relaxed and feel very calm. She is helpful when addressing a variety of concerns. I keep going back for more.

Caroline has been my massage therapist at Refresh! for over a year now, and I have experienced incredible health benefits from our monthly one hour sessions. No longer do I have chronic neck and shoulder pain. The frequency of my headaches has decreased dramatically. And my overall emotional health has improved as well. I feel much more relaxed and balanced as I go through my day. Monthly massage treatments have improved my life dramatically, and I would highly recommend Caroline and her center to anyone!

Refresh! is a wonderful, soothing spa. I have a massage monthly and always go away having had a relaxing and for me, therapeutic massage. I've tried the Tai Yoga massage and found it to be very interesting and different. I plan on doing that again. Facials are also great! I was surprised how much I enjoyed the facial - a truly amazing feeling for the senses. The aromatherapy, hot stones and hot towel treatment that I receive during my regular massage can't be beat. I've had massages at other spas and have had none to compare to the treatment at Refresh!
