John Carver Inn & Spa

Located in historic downtown Plymouth on the site of the original pilgrim settlement and named after the first elected governor of Plymouth Colony, this inn has 80 guest rooms and suites with amenities including cable TV with on-demand features, air conditioning, individual climate control, wireless Internet, and Nintendo systems. Beach Plum Spa features organic products and treatments and has incorporated beach plum into therapies and its own product line. There is also a spa boutique, an exercise room, whirlpool, and saunas down the hall from the spa in the pool area, and steam showers in the locker room. Local historic attractions such as Burial Hill, where many of the first settlers were buried, the first Court House, the Jenny Grist Mill, the Mayflower II, and Plymouth Rock are within walking distance. The Pilgrim Cove Indoor Theme Pool has lap lanes, a life-size replica of the Mayflower, an 80-foot water slide, and a whirlpool replica of Plymouth Rock. There is 4,500-square-feet of meeting facilities in six function rooms for groups ranging from 10 to 200. Audio/visual services are available as well as arrangements for cabaret shows and musical entertainment with special packages for groups of 30 or more. The inn also hosts weddings.
