I will recommend this salon and spa to my friends and family. It was very clean and comfortable and neatly decorated. I was offered a beverage immediately after being greeted by the owner, Terra, and the stylist, Katie, was knowledgeable and friendly. All of the staff made me feel like I was their only client, and even though this was my first visit, they eased my nerves and quickly made me feel right at home. Absolute Salon and Spa had a professional atmosphere while being warm and relaxed as well. I have already scheduled my next visit! Thank you for my Mother's Day style, color, and cut!

I have been having my hair cut and colored by Lori Marie at Absolute for a couple of years now. I looked up Absolute on Spa Finder and found great reviews, but I still didn't commit to any services. I visited the place and met with Tera, the owner. She was equally friendly, professional and down-to-earth, and really made me feel comfortable. To boot, the spa's prices are more than competitive - especially for the service you get. When I don't know what to do with my hair, I just leave it to Lori Marie, and I end up with an entourage of compliments afterward. Recently, they endured an accidental building fire, and I can't tell you how professionally and seamlessly they have handled operating out of another space. I can't wait to see what they do with the rebuild in Shelby Twp. Try Absolute; you won't be disappointed with Tera's business.

I absolutely loved my deep tissue massage with Elaine. She was very good at massaging the muscles and working out the knots in my shoulders and back. I am so relaxed. It was a very nice environment and everyone was friendly. I will definitely come here again.

I received a spafinder gift certificate and after reading the great reviews, I decided to book an appointment at Absolute to get my hair done. When I arrived for my apt today there was a schedule mix up and the stylist that I was scheduled with was not there. However, Tera apologized for the mix up and immediately offered to honor my apt herself. She took extra time to talk to me and determine exactly what I had in mind. I decided on some high lights, lowlights and explained the style that I was looking for. I was not at all disappointed. The color looks great and I love the style! I will definately recommend my friends, relatives and anyone looking for a great hairdo to visit Absolute. I look forward to booking my next apt and trying out other services there as well. I found Absolute Salon Day Spa on a computer search looking for Spa Finder members. It was my lucky day. Lori Marie cut and colored my hair. I received excellent professional service from Lori Marie. I really like my color and my cut. My hair feels silky and has a deep shine. I booked another appointment before I left. Lori Marie took me on a tour of the facility. It is beautiful. Pat T.

Erin cuts my hair @ Absoulte and Tera has always been very pleasant and goes out of her way to get my appointment scheduled. The ladies in the salon are very friendly and Erin has a talent for taking hair cuts and color to the next level -- not only does your hair look great, but you yourself can reproduce the style for weeks -- a sure sign that it truely is a great cut -- while I can never do exactly what she does when I leave the salon -- my hair is easy to do and "goes" great most days unitl my next cut. She is the best!

My friend and I had a mini day spa. I enjoyed a wonderful hot stone massage and pedicure/manicure. Very professional staff. I did have to tell the staff that my services were booked under the monthly special. My friend did not receive the european facial that she had booked - she got the express. Not a big deal to my friend. Also she had booked a hot stone massage and Absolute Salon didn't have her booked as such. I wish Absolute Salon would call to confirm the appointment and treatments.

I had tried other stylists in the past, but I always left not superexcited about my hair. Then I had Tera, the owner of Absolute, cut and style my hair. Honestly, she has done the best job on my hair. Even though my hair is a little thin, she manages to create fullness with her cut & blow dry. It's hard to find someone that repeatedly does a great job..Needless to say I continually come back. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and the environment is clean and relaxing! Kudos to the people here!!

I chose to take my BF and I to Absolute for a treat for Valentine's Day. We both did a massage and facial. I was afraid he would think it was "silly" and not give it a chance. He absolutely LOVED the facial by Brittany and the massage by Amanda was good too! The only "issue" we had was a mix-up in scheduling services. I only wanted these two services for both of us and the owner put us down for manicures and pedicures too! So, there was a bit of a wait in between my facial and massage. My BF got in and out with both....so he had to wait around for me for a bit. Since there was a mix-up though, I got my hair washed and styled too., and the stylist was awesome with washing my hair and massaging my scalp! All in all - it was a lovely and extremely relaxing experience and my BF said he had never felt so pampered and relaxed! Thanks ladies for a lovely afternoon!!! We will be back!

When I walked into Absolute Salon and Day Spa, I was very impressed. I was promptly warmly greeted and offered something to drink. As I waited to recieve my massage, I had a chance to look around and noticed how clean the environment was. My massage was great and also enjoyed the peace and tranquill music. I had a pedicure and manicure which no others have compared to. While my nails dried, I had a facial which topped off my services. I did not have to wait in between each service and was made to feel very relaxed. Thank you staff at Absolute. I will recomend Amanda, Pam and Shelly to friends and family.

The massage rooms at Absolute Salon and Spa are clean and tastefully decorated. The music is soothing and the staff is pleasant. I had a body massage today by Elaine and it was wonderful as was the fabulous facial I received from Shelly. Both women respected my "quite time" and I was able to drift into a beautiful relaxed state. I look forward to my next visit.

The owner (Tera) of this spa cut my hair. It was the worst cut I have ever had. She did everything opposite of what I asked. Her personality was very unpleasant and cold. Yes, the salon itself is nice but the owner sure could use a class on customer service.

As an entreprenuer and stylist I would like to reply to the previous review. As a salon owner I know that customer service is the core of a successful business. As a professional I make suggestions to all my clients what would enhance every feature of the client in my chair. Ultimately, the client makes the final decision of what they may or may not want. In closing I would like to appologize to Jamie S and offer to make things better and do whatever it takes for her to return to Absolute. However, I do not have a Jamie S in my database and have no way to cantact her to offer a resolution. Thank you, everyone who reviewed this spa. The outstanding reviews are the reason I chose this spa and I was not disappointed. I was greeted promptly and offered a bottle of water. My hot stone massage was wonderful, and I especially appreciated her telling me our time was almost up so I could have her concentrate on the area of my choosing. Then I went over for a pedicure, where I was offered a glass of wine. Everyone is so friendly and it was nice to see the staff help each other out (for example, a hair stylist will offer to get something for the pedicurist, even though that is not her customer.) I will definitely return and will also recommend Absolute to my friends.

I received an ammazzzzing massage from Vincent, the male therapist at Absolute Spa. He listened to what I said and focused on my needs. This was the most relaxing massage I have ever received! very personal service with a professional staff but fun. Spa is clean and the service excellent. My sister went with me as I'm from out of town. She was prepared to read a book but they offered her a chance to soak her feet and she decided to have a color change on her toenails. Kelly gave her what I would call a mimi-pedi and only charged her 10 dollars. We were very impressed.

WOW! I heard from a friend of a friend about Absolute and that it was worth the drive. I drove an hour one way and I am happy I did! The facial was so relaxing-Dawn took extra time and I really liked the products! The massage by Charlie was so professional and I was nervous about a man giving me a massage! He was great! I also had a pedicure and my legs and feet still feel good! Kelly did my pedicure and I will be telling my friends that live closer to the spa about all of the talent there! Absolute is absolutly great! I will go back in a heartbeat!

I was in last week again! I really like Absolute! I have been a client for some time and every visit gets better and better! Dawn is great with all aspects of hair and Kelley is maigical with pedicures! I am looking forward to a massage with very soon! The salon and spa are growing and I am excited! This place is a hidden gem!!! I agree you have to look for it at first...but... you WILL NOT forget where it is after your first visit! Keep it up Absolute! You are a great value for my spa dollars!

What a great atmosphere. The staff makes you feel important and comfortable from the time that you walk in the door with a glass of wine or beverage. They are very attentive and make sure that you leave happy but most important, it does not cost an arm and leg to get the works done. I will definately be back and tell all my friends.

This place is welcoming and their customer service is tops! The facility is VERY clean and comfortable! Dawn did my facial and my skin was glowing. I was so relaxed and really felt at home here! I have rebooked for hair services with her and am looking forward to them. My chair massage was great too! I did not have time for a full hour massage today, but will be back to Absolute to enjoy! Although the salon sign is a bit hard to see from the road (they are directly across the street from a huge fruit market)...Once you have had services here, you WILL NOT forget where they are!! This destination comes with a very high reccomnedation from me and I am telling all my friends! I can hardly wait to get back! Good Job!
