Fresh Facials & Skin Care

Had my first facial in many years with Jesseca last night, and she did a wonderful job- I didn't really know what kind of facial I wanted, so we talked about my skin and what my goals were and went from there. Jesseca did a clinical microdermabrasion session with me, explaining how it all worked as we went, and then followed up with a combination of extractions (firm, but gentle) some soothing masks, and a lovely hand/arm/shoulder massage. She told me about all the products she was using and why (from their source to why she'd picked them for me specifically) but never suggested that I go out and buy them- I really appreciated the lack of up-sell; she even suggested some effective home remedies that might help my oily, acne-prone skin. Jesseca is very friendly and professional- intuitive as to the level of conversation that is comfortable to you, and simply provides a very high level of service! The location is convenient, clean, quiet, and very luxurious. I felt very pampered. I recommend Jesseca and Fresh Facials without reservation, and will be seeing her again.

Great location. Beautiful studio. Comfortable setting. Excellent services totally tailored to your skin. Your skin will look so much better when you are done. Bring extra money because their line of products actually work. My arms get flaky every spring and I tried everything but nothing ever worked all day like their body lotion.

To sum it up in one word - wow. What an amazing experience. It all started when I found myself in a situation demanding a great looking face. A friend had suggested a facial from Jesseca. I was quite skeptical, considering facials to be "a girl thing." I reluctantly agreed to "give it a shot." That was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I showed up for my appointment a bit early and had hardly sat down when Jesseca came out to greet me. Her appearance and demeanor were very friendly, yet professional. She took me back to her room, and immediately I was in heaven. All my senses were stimulated. Soft, blissful music, low lighting, flickering candles, a nice plush chair, wonderful tea, and a refreshing, slightly citrus scent. I climbed into bed and felt like I was laying on a cloud. I wish my bed at home was as comfortable as hers! The heated bed is great at keeping me warm, too. Jesseca came back into the room, dimmed the light, tucked my feet in....and I was completely relaxed. For the next hour I laid there in a state of complete relaxation, far greater than I experience on a regular basis. During the session Jesseca did a great job of telling me what was going on with my skin, asking about my hygeine and lifestyle habits, and catering the facial specifically for my needs. She also thoroughly informed me of what I needed to do to maintain my now clear and smooth skin. All in all, I'd rate Jesseca's facials a 12/10, and I have to say I'm hooked! I've gone back five or six times since my first facial with her, and loved every session as much as the first! Her back treatment is just as great as her facials. My back has cleared up a significant amount after her magic touch! Guys, facials aren't just for women. Sure, I expected to lay there resenting my decision to go in, wishing it would hurry up and be over. Instead, I had a chunk of time to let go, relax, and let everything be all about me. And I couldn't be more pleased with what she did to my skin. Acne, no more! Take my advice: try it out. You'll be amazed.

For those who happen to come across this husband and wife team, you already know what a treat their products and services are. For those who have yet to experience it, you are in for the best two hours (or so) you can spend in a spa. I love the fact that all of their products used in treatments are made with real food, fresh each week, by Cory Michael, the male half of this team. These things aren't laden with preservatives, like many products on the market are, and they smell wonderful. Clouds of lavender-scented mist greeted me as I laid down for my treatment. Jessica, our aesthetician, was bright, wondrous and knowledgeable. She helped to balance my dry skin and gave me some tips on how to keep my skin hydrated and looking its best. The Chocolate-Pomegranate facial was to die for. Sumptuous and cozy, she wrapped me in a warm bundle of down blankets while she attended to my facial. The chocolate-pomegranate mask smelled like you could eat it, though I would recommend against that; especially since she had a plate of delicious truffles waiting for me at the door. And to top off the sweetness, she even gave me a sugar foot scrub and a sumptuous arm/hand massage. My skin feels like it's 10 years younger. I wish I could tote her with me when I move. I will make time to visit her every time I'm visiting Seattle.
